Re: Ghost Stories and Urban Legends

Interesting posts, would like to contribute one. Recall I read it from somewhere, it may not have originated from S'pore, I cannot remem exact so pls don't zap if not accurate or well narrated hor, thks.
Setting is again in a quiet dark road during the wee hours, a man probably after a drinking or cheonging session la comes out to the road and there happens to be a cab there, without really looking he hops in and tells the destination. Soon he realises that the cab is not picking up speed but just rolling along. He looks at the driver, but realises that there isn't any driver! But the car is moving? Balls shrinked, unable to scream, he jumps out and runs into a coffeeshop ahead. He had seen movies of haunted vehicles, but never expected to be in one. He is too shaken to go anywhere, cold sweat steaming down, and decides to gather his sense, fearing to flag another cab. Later he notices two men walk in and sat beside his table and overhears their conversation.
Cab driver: "Thanks for helping me push the taxi to the carpark, pai seh I'll buy you a drink"
Passenger: "No problem, just a short distance nia"
Driver: "Did you hear some noises just now?"
Passenger: "Yea, and after that that felt harder to push some more"
Driver: "Must be the road got upslope..."
