Procedure and Info of making border pass
Requirement:
- For those are born in Perlis, kedah, Perak and Kelantan only
Document needed:
- 1 photocopy of IC (not front and back on the same A4 sheet. make it like your IC which is small sheet front for frontside and back for backside)
- 2 possport size color photo
-RM10
Procedure:
- Pass 1 photocopy of IC, original IC, 2 passport photo and RM10 to counter.
- 5 to 10 mins later, You will get back your original IC and a borderpass.
Place to apply border pass
Option 1 - Bukit Kayu Hitam custom (Open sunday till thursday)
- For every citizen who born in Perlis, Kedah, Perak and Kelantan
- You can get your photocopy IC and instant photo at shop on your lefthand side before malaysia custom
- Should be able to make your border pass at other Malaysia thai border custom but i am not sure. need other sifu to confirm. But at BKH sure can because i did it before.
Option 2 - Your born state immigration branch
- For example, If you are born in Perak you can apply your border pass at any immigration branch in Perak. The duration is 6 months. Same for the rest of 3 states
Option 3 - Any other 3 states immigration branch which is not your born state.
- For example, if you are born in Perak but you wanna apply your border pass at kedah or Perlis or Kelantan immigration branch. Your border pass only valid as single entrance. Procedure and fee same as above
So, not possible to apply your borderpass at any other state except the 4 states i mention above.
so bro konkam, if you are going in anyday between sunday to thursday, you can apply it on the spot at Bukit Kayu Hitam Custom before giong in. just need 10mins....
Another good thing about border pass is you dont have to fill up the white card. you just need to pass them your borderpass and RM1 will do.... :P
