The New World KTV and night club is also a great place for picking up. I think the rate is $100 - $150 for the night.
There are some bars around Ha Bai Trung 74/A and 74/B, which one needs to check out. Remember -- do not be fooled by the outside looks or even sometimes the insides.
Chicks in HCMC are plenty. One needs to just tread a little carefully.
