Ex throw to me to court once claiming that me no give maintenance for more than 3 years, agreement with her was to deduct from the loan $XX,XXX (loan agreement got lawyer letter one ok) given to her parents.

Ex said that no such agreement in court and the judge almost gave it to her - lucky me found the email printed out many many years ago suggested by her on the offsetting of the parent loan. Or else "black eye jack" = 3 years x $XXXX.

Things can come back to haunt us until ex got married again so take care.

Rule #1 - don't get caught
Rule #2 - keep you finances separate right from the get-go
Rule #3 - you will eventually get caught, so plan for it

1) does living in separate room under same house for more than 8 years considered separation?

2) what can I do to have a quick divorce given the situation of 1) (self "isolate" by me) and there is no 3rd party involved.. just want to break free...

I and my wife have been staying in the same address but separate bedrooms for more than 4 yrs, we have a 7 yrs old daughter. I know there is ground for divorce through 4 yrs of separation. The problem is, we sold our HDB flat just a few months ago, and then buy another resale flat under both our names because we need a roof to stay for the sake of our daughter. We have renovated the new flat, however, we are still living in separate bedrooms. Can I still file for divorce? Will the Selling and then buying of resale HDB place plus renovation etc affect the divorce application?

however, divorce should only be considered
after all other options are exhausted.
