For pricing wise, i didnt compare much with others online agents but it is definately a better deal than those local travel agents.

My personnal opinion is that he is professional in his job. If not, he wouldn't be allow as a register advertiser here, right? You ppl might want to try booking with them the next time you travel to Thailand.

Ken, just for info.. have heard years ago this happened, in Indonesia.
Such group usually being herded from shop to shop and no stopping for sightseeing. This thing happened in Bali eons ago with Taiwanese Tourist when they start coming to Bali in big numbers.

The group were auctioned by the tour operator to tour guides who bid highest get the group. To recoupe the investment then he (the guide) will take the group to shopping all day long. The shop till you drop things. The guide will earn a fat commission and the tourist will be at the receiving end paying thru their nose for souvenirs, crafts at overcharge price.

Chinese governement I think aware of this practices that is why for places like Indonesia they appoint a consortium of agencies (local and overseas) to handle groups. That is what I heard from friend at the tourism industry.

So if you come accross such group do be carefull. In many case the practice use some hard "strong arm" tactical approach as well to those who "rebel" in the group if you know what I mean.

You really are worth the higher rates i pay. How i know, because i book a room from you last week.

You take you effort to help me get a room for me in the last minute.Walk in guest will be much expensive . In the morning ,you call to ask me about my stay there. I really appreciate it very much.

Anyway next time if i wana a room, i will compare with asiaroom and i will book from you if the price is the same as asiaroom. Thanks for your message. Asiarooms being a massive company have in my opinion the cheapest rates there are, for some hotels particularly the cheaper ones.

ThaiHotelDiscounts being a smaller company, offers slightly higher rates, but I personally take care of all customers. We can give the confirmation and the voucher in no more than 2 working hours during office hours. 2 hours being the maximum, normally within 1 hour. Other companies can't offer this. I may be wrong, let me know.

Also I will check each booking myself with the hotel regarding Guest Policy. Then we both know all the facts. I am sure Asiarooms dont do this. They are not interested in this, as they get thousands of bookings per month. The customer is given good service, but is all a number at the end of the day. Not all ThaiHotelDiscounts.

I stand by the fact, I will try and beat the price,if I cant, i will give you the lowest price I can. It may be a little more, but surely thats a small price to pay for our service.

JinJiaXian, like yourself. You sent me a booking at 4-30pm Thai time. You were on the way to Changi Airport. You had a phone call from me no later than 4-45pm to offer you alternative acommodation. How many companies could work that fast? ThaiHotelDiscounts can help you for late bookings.

A lot of the hotels in your website showed rate to Oct 31, 2005 only. How do we know the rate beyond this date ?

BTW, the rates in your website is quite good in general. I booked through Asiarooms for hotels room in Thailand and Indonesia a few times despite that I was aware of the compliant on their service. Given not much difference in rate, I don't mind to switch over.

Yes many hotels do have prices only up to 31OCT 05.

This is for a couple of reasons.

1. Many unpopular hotels are not being continued next season.

2. Quite a few hotels, including Grand President, President Park, President Solitaire etc, which are all guest friendly. These hotels have not given their new rates effective 1 Nov to any agents yet. We are all waiting for them, should be soon.

Many hotels have not given the new rates as well. They should come soon, and will be updated the following day we receive them.

Knowtender, if you let me know the hotels that you are interested in, I will check to see if we have the rates yet or not.

Cheers for your kind comments. I try my best for all. Oct 31st is the last date for the old season. Come the new season, I will be getting rid of some hotels which dont really sell, and new ones will be coming, The Palazzo is one which is coming and others in Pattaya. Also I will need to get some Hat Yai hotels as many Samsters cheong there.
