I want to change to a 'Girl Friendly' Hotel today.... Been staying in a 'Non-Girl Friendly' hotel but been $%#%^#&^ the 'Nabei' $&$%$##^ Security everynight since 24/9/08...Any recommendations... My budget is USD150 nett... with free internet 24 hours in room, Free Laundry, Breakfast not crucial... Just Pho will do..... Very Important is can bring my girl(s) back......Please advise

I have yet to encounter a hotel that would do free laundry for you. Complimentary pressing or complimentary 3 pcs maybe can still find.

I have been here over a year and 1 year on, i still Vietnam a relatively boring place compared to Thailand, my previous posting. The pro of this city is that it's really a small scene so everyone know each other. It's very predictable where most guys hang out. The regular Underground Bar for pre drinks, moving onto Royale or Rio or Volcano and usually ending the night at VIC. Girls wise, i think the girls here are still pretty much a bit kampong and "lian". They dress to the nines but they squat and take off their shoes when they sit on a sofa. That's the social structure here...still some distance away from lady like behaviour.

I urge more of our red dot brethens to go out more that the regular joints. If you really wanna explore life , then consider hooking up the expats here. Lush is a great hunting ground if you have a bit of personality and can hold a conversation. Japanese,Taiwanese, Korean, Aussies, Canadian, English are nationalities that have been back before to my service apartment. No need to go to dingy hotels and my door man always wink at me with a smile on his face. Seriously, break out of the Sing Mindset of only Vietnamese girls .

Well if you still need to have your fix, then be generous with them, afterall, volcano and Apolo are places like orchard towers(more pretty tho).

If want the massage like the way we have our tuina in Singapore. I think you will be disappointed in general. The girls who wanked you here can only make a 15 year old teen feel happy. But if you must go for the cheap stuff, go along nguyen phi khanh for their hair saloon. 100k entrance, 100k hj. You will leave in 30 mins. Little massage or what so ever.

Well, guys...Thailand is still the place for me. Vietnam is far 2nd.

I think great man thinks alike. I have already booked for him the best room in this hotel. It cost 75 USD per night.

You can take the most ex room just only US50.
Room is nice, gfriendly, have internet n very near to saloon.
Hotel nearby also have foods to eat but laundry need to pay.

The last time I stayed at A&EM 4 Hotel opposite Ben Thanh Market, the receptionist even ask me where is my Vietnamese girlfriend, in Mandarin!!!

All these hotels have free breakfast and free internet at the lobby, but no free laundry. I had to wash my underwear myself when I had wet-dream!!

Night entertainment scene between HCMC and BKK is definitely world's apart. It is precisely the "non-commercial" aspect of HCMC which attracted me over BKK. I've done BKK for more than 6 years. 2-3 trips each month. Enough is enough.

Viet girls are generally "unrefined" if compared to their Thai counterparts. This is exactly what I like. Kampung feel and non pretentious unlike Thai girls. Viet girls (not those in JC or GL) in HCMC are generally more sincere and not calculative than Thai girls. Thai girls are full of bullshit 24/7. The PRCs come to a close second. Haha!

HCMC is a place for guys who like amateur girls. At least for me. Yes the gem may be unpolished. If you have the time to polish the gem. In no time you shall reap the rewards. It is only if you want to make an effort and brainwash the girls. Cut them some slack. After all the whole country was closed up for some time ever since Uncle Ho took power. We have to thank that there're communist countries such as China and Vietnam around. Else how can we have better spending power to savour so many pussies? I'm waiting for the next breakthrough to happen. That is North Korea. How does kimchi at S$30 sound instead of S$150 per shot for South Korean kimchi? Haha.

A bro stationed in HCMC also gave me a great tip as not to overlook the foreign tourist chicks and expats. I shall research and probe into this area and see what is the outcome.

I always believe we've to be flexible and tweak our expectations in each different environment we are in. There're many ways to have fun. It's how we create it backed with proper research and good communication with locals.
