One last reason and this sound selfish; I think I get brownies points for helping them out. I always get a discount from the venues that they take me on my last few trips.

Maybe you are local and have the time to hit places here and there, I am just have a few days and the travel agent always gets me a sure thing everywhere we go every single time.
