I visit the China Ministry of Foreign Affairs website to check out whether Singaporean need to apply for visa if i only stay there for 15 days.

And i found out something very funny A Brief Introduction to Chinese Visa and the Procedure for Visa Application

Visa D: issued to "aliens" who are to reside permanently in China. A permanent residence confirmation form shall be required for the application of Visa D. The applicant shall apply to obtain this form himself or through his designated relatives in China from the exit-and-entry department of the public security bureau in the city or county where he applies to reside.

They issue Visa to Aliens and not people. So funny lol

China Foreign Affair did not updated since then. So looking at this web site also no use.
