Hmmmm...based on the article...the week before period is safe, then the week after is also safe...minus 3 bloody days...a good 11 days...not bad...

and...

All safe period sex is based on the theory of reproduction. The theory can be presented in school textbooks, educational videos, website calculators, smartphone apps, grandmothers' diaries, but really have no guarantees. It's high risk. It's like playing Russian roulette (revolver loaded with 1 bullet, or maybe 2 bullets).

I agree with a lady member here about young women with irregular periods.

I love raw, but I was never assured when calculating the safe window before a woman's period. It's Russian roulette with more bullets. Good luck playing those odds!

personal thoughts:

Day 1 of mensus count, 7 days is safe. if bloody 5 days, only 2 days safe.

the last 7 days prior to mensus is safe also. however, due to stress or whatever delay, hard to tell when the mensus is coming hence the 7 days prior to that is hard to gauge also.

I always thought 7 days after blood all gone is safe. really not much days to creampie liao

Yes, it's really quite impossible to accurately forecast the start of a woman's period. The woman herself won't be able to, much less a man. Stress and sickness also changes the female cycle. Therefore it's really only after the period that has the "safer" window, and it's a really short window.

It's really no way that it is safe up to 7 days after period. It's more like 2-3 days, but really it's best to know by hours, and again, there is NO guarantee that the theory holds true for the woman you do raw with. It's still playing Russian roulette.
