I though herpes is skin to skin transmission,. Even have sex when there is no outbreak, chances is still there is spread..

basically, you should not engage in any sexual activities when there is a breakout, the chances of the other person getting the virus is much much higher than when there is no outbreak..

I got a small blister at my upper lips and it lasted or the past 4 days, I used salt to rub it and it broken and applied bonjela gel, now it dried up and starts healing.. my last time encounter with fl was one year back and I never do painting and kissed any fl before?

May I know whether I kena hsv1 in this case? If this is herpes, will it start to spread all over my lips as for now rather than just a small blister this time? Thanks

I have got infected with herpes 2 for years...married and with kids...
