I heard that tourists have been taken for a ride or fleece by unscrupulous or undesirable people.
What are other things that I should be aware of. Please help, I am a senior citizen.
Thanking you guys in advance.
get out of custom, keep to your left and go straight till the end when you see the whole row of taxi, dont take any of it..... go to the back near burger king and look for vinasun taxi is a white colour one or majinin taxi in green ... i think these two more safe by meter

As shared by senior member to me
1 - After chop passpot, take escalator go down
2 - Exit immigration, money changer in front
3 - After that Exit the depature hall..in front there are cabs but unknown companies.
4 - Go right to look for the side door to go back inside
5 - Go up x 2 and exit domestic departure
6 - Walk toward right where u see ppl q up for Vinasun cab,,,
7 - Show the driver the hotel address cos they don't speak English

Or..
Go right cross the road.. take bus 152 to Ben Tanh..if you stay there. 5000 dong.
I just took that bus earlier today.
The instructions for finding taxis are ok until #3 (apart from the fact that you will exit the ARRIVALS and not the departures). However, my experience is to turn left outside and look for Vinasun taxi there.
The very complicated instructions to enter the terminal again so as to find a taxi at Departures seems completely unnecessary as there are Vinasun taxis just outside Arrivals.

Joe
anyway...many ways to get a taxi from the airport...so much of discussion...maybe can we just leave it at that...

Learn some basic tieng viet. Why limit yourself to 2-3% of VBs. (whom speak your language)
It is like eating fishball noodle without fishball; or eating pizza without cheese.
