Next Friday is the Hari Raya Puasa. If you are looking for some fun (seems to be as all business will come to a halt). Then cancel the trip. This is the biggest holiday in Indonesia. In fact from 13 onwards, many are on the way back to their city to celebrate the Holidays. Not sure where you from. Is similar like Thanksgiving in the States or Lunar New Year in China.
Go on 3 August week. They will back by then by is time most would have spent all their fortune away and need to make quick bucks.
