and nego the price upfront, but ppl say its all gone underground.
so i wonder if they pull you one side and bring you "underground" and then show you a fishtank HC...that would be real good.

my guess you and me are both newbies in taiwan. next month going taiwan on my own.

I think is ximending night market or the snake alley market. (from basic internet sources.) these are those underground or consider illegal or no license??

what about those who call you at hotel phone line or knock on your hotel room doors? how good are they and how much they charge?

read about Beitou and new beitou also but can't find anything concrete there.
only hotsprings and more hotsprings. thought it used to be a red light area but that may seems to be ages ago.

Bro keewee, I think your expectation is quite high, I think we have having the same expectation.. (I PM you a few times while you are in Taiwan last time, you never reply lo)

I believe to get the really chio mei mei, the standard now is at least 8k and above, I tried to call those 6k ones, all CMI, not even Singapore standard, they told me kawaii, cute, pretty, hot or what so ever description, but in the end, open the door can straight say "Sorry/Paiseh" spontaneously. I thought I will be very shy to say that, but once saw them, dont really want to see the second time, i mean their appearance, either they don't makeup or dress like going to shopping malls nearby their home (too casual).

Bro keewee, will keep in touch when I have chance to go Taiwan alone, haha..

Beitou last time in the 80's was RED RED RED, now, its all clean and touristy. You are not gonna get anything there now.

Ximending pimps now rather rare, and the qualities of the gals are also... very hit and miss... High chance you get some ah mah level one quite high... And they will charge prices which can get you air stewardess level...

Snake Alley (near Longshan Temple), is cheap... and the quality also damned cheap. The last legal license was issued in (rumored) 1998 before Ah Bian made it illegal. If they were 18 in 1998... you can imagine the age now... Its MUCH cheaper there of course. Something like >NT2000 FS for 30mins. But note, the "goods" there are really really OLD! Early 30s are rare, late 30s to mid 40s are the norm. There are quite a few streets there that u can go walk walk see see at night, and rule of thumb, going there later is better, as the less cui ones will be there much later, as compared to the worn up CBs, whom have to come much earlier to snag customers.

The best place for FS supposedly is in Taichung and Kaoshiung, as it is not so regulated. Its cheaper there too, compared to Taipei. Best have someone (local) who knows the scene there bring you... Cuz down south... More hiong.

If you are stuck in Taipei, i suppose call xiao guo or Aiko, the higher the price, the better the goods.

Or u can go Sauna, which is rather value for money, and not a bad place if u like MILFs, or a mid to late 20s Taiwanese flower, if you are lucky.
