Vietnamese Dong rate update

Bros, opening up a thread to update on what and where the latest exchange rate for Dong.

Just arrive today, the leftest shop in the airport is changing at 1SGD=12,088 Dong.

Went to Ha Tam at Cho Ben Thanh and changed at 1SGD=12,350

Address to Ha Tam is SO2 Nguyen An Ninh, Q1.

I changed at Hilton today and the rate is S$1 to 12072 dong.
Pretty good rate for a hotel....

That is correct! draw from Citibank ATM using a Citibank card makes good sense. the only problem is there are only 2 Citibank ATM in Hanoi and most of the time the machine run out of cash.

For HCMC, just across the street from the Citibank ATM along Nguyen Hue, there is the best money changing outlet in town, rates still better than Citibank ATM i think.

If you draw from any other ATM, there is a VND20k charge, so make sure you draw the maximum to minimise your % of service charge.

Remember, the idea is dun give away blowjob too easily....

The idea is not to take a cab to that kind of place la... what you should do is take a map in 1 hand and S$1,000 in the other hand and go to the street. If you see a pretty girl on a bike, stop her and ask her where to change money and then ask her if she can give you a ride there. When you change money already, tell her you so grateful and want to buy her ice-cream. eventually you not only get good rate, but possibly also a good blow job!
