Frankly speaking, I had dated with 2 gals from this forum so far... Whom we actually progress into relationship...

The first one at first was just 'friend'... She was telling about her sad past etc though... And I gave her some advice... Eventually we met up and consoling her, giving her whatever advice she needs, and requried... From stranger, we become friends, and one day, we ... Later part, we become couple... and a real couple I meant... However, we broke off after 2yrs together due to something I dun wish to share here... Anyway, she's married now with a kid.... =)

Another one we met up due to she posted looking for a 'ons' or companionship for the weekend... When met up, realised we were classmates from before... Of course, the meet up turns up well, and we became a couple... However due to that she's afraid in committing, we later broke off, but maintain as 'FB' till now =)

frankly if ur looking to fall for a fling by all means i think this is the place but if u wanna fall in love and have a future id say its like going to petaling street hoping to find a real LV. not easy to find and hard to differentiate from the fakes.

Everything is possible in the virtual world. Many things not in actual. When you mix real with virtual - rojak!! Disadvantage of SBF is that history may return to haunt relationships - later. Opinions may / will differ - that is why life is so interesting!! Do not think you need the advices. Most people just ask to confirm what they want / believe / do.

You have reached your conclusion - just do it!! Nothing to lose as U know what you want. Friendship / companionship / FBs whatever but not love. Added bonus is love, if fated - very unlikely though. I don't think it is fair for you to pass judgement on 3/4 of the people who are in this board by your own standards and call them 'mentally ill'. if you meant being 'sex atheletes' as a mental phenomenon, then I agree with you. I think most of the people here are sex atheletes but that does not mean they are bad people or a danger to society and should be instituted in IMH, right?

We tend to judge against a baseline value-system and obviously, no one in society will claim that being 'casual with sex' is the moral baseline we should abide by. Thus we have notti priests and bishops...who may or maynot be SBF members.

My point is, just because a person who is actively having extra sexual activities does not make them bad or mad people. I have met some from sbf who are the nicest, more compassionate than usual people. Ironically, they are the caring fathers/mothers and husbands/wives - just they have this surge of homones every now and then :P. It is for the individual to judge and evaluate a person from a broader 'basket of criteria' to decide if he/she is worth having a serious relationship with.
