How to help my friend?

i haven't posted in a while, and this really all sounds a bit too drama to be real, but on the off chance there is some words of advice that i can give that will help ...

- even though malaysian police are not the cleanest, they are still there to protect and serve. rape and blackmail are serious crimes, and the BF is going to be put away for a long time (not to mention possibly receiving several strokes of flesh-ripping rotan). so, no 1, report police. unless he has some serious political connections, he is going to get one up by an even bigger gang - i.e. malaysian police. She can also probably get the help of her local parliament member to go to police station with her. This way, malaysian police don't dare to fuck up and will immediately haul the BF ass to lockup, as got political attention.

- i think your friend and his GF will have to bear the risk that the photos may eventually get leaked onto the internet. Assuming you report police, and assuming they immediately raid his place, i do not think he will have the time to upload the photos anywhere. if he is caught, all media will be confiscated, in which you should only worry about police leaking it out. which is worst? getting blackmailed over and over again (with no guarantee in future photos won't be sent out anyway), or just take the risk now and end it. since there is no guarantee either way, you're better off ending the blackmail now.

- i don't understand why the GF can't just move in with him in SG. govt scholarship, ok, but you can pay that back - most malaysians pay that back by installment anyway. On a teachers salary i would imagine that isn't too difficult to your friend to take up (or herself for that matter in future once she resides and works in SG). breaking a govt bond is not the end of the world. The malaysian govt is not going to hunt your ass down and prosecute you.

so, if after all the logical questions and answers i posted above, and still do nothing, then you really got to ask why is the GF protecting the low life BF? is there some scam here? again ... too drama which leads to alot of questions.

Your friend didn't accompany her during and after her breast cancer operation yesterday? He could have prevented this latest round of sex abused from her ex-boyfriend if he was by her side. Afterall, they are planning to get married and he got her pregnant.

From what you wrote, it's not her fault and your friend very much in love with her (thus your thread). I thought as a couple planning to spend the rest of life together, why he wanted to break-up with her in crisis like this? If wanting to call-off the relationship, also need to do it some other time NOT now!!! Like this is like pushing this poor girl to a corner!
