Confed Cup South Africa 2009(Spain Vs South Africa)

Confedarations Cup South Africa 2009
Spain Vs South Africa

Like the Iraqis, South Africa need a win in this game to secure a place in the semi final however to win against the likes of Spain may prove to be a daunting task thus a draw will be enough to see them through even if Iraqis win. South Africa is desperate to rekindle their glory days in the mid 1990s. After winning the African Nations Cup in 1996 they seem to be going through a slump and right now they quite eager to bring back their glory days before they host the World Cup 2010. With coach Joel Santana at the helm not much can be said about South Africa although it maybe too early to judge them. Santana might want to bank in the experience of Aaron Mokoena and Steve Pienaar both whom ply their trade in the English Premier League side Blackburn and Everton respectively. Nonetheless a draw would be enough for South Africa and am sure the coach Santana will adopt a defensive formation going into this game.

Spain on the end is certain of a spot in the semi-final and would definitely want to rest his first eleven. I expect him to put a couple of 2nd stringers on the field tomorrow. Despite the fact that coach Del Bosque would want to win this to add on his impressive credential, no coach on the right would want to risk injuries or suspension for any of his first team. My best guess is he’s going to drop a gear coming to this game and somehow tell his players to ease off a little bit cause this team has yet to be fully tested. The semi final would be the place where Spain will be tested fully since they might face stronger team.

With one team going for draw and the other going to play it safe I say this might end up a boring draw. Both sides are capable scorers but would they push forward that remains to be seen. I see this as 1-1 or 2-2 scoreline in the making.

Good luck and always remember betting is for fun so go easy on it.

Spain already qualified,so may give the second liners a chance to play.
I believe also it will be a DRAW as Blatter will not like to empty stadium for the Semi-Final or Final.

Good Luck To All Here !!!
