If I am not wrong there was another Italian playing for Chelsea. Can't remember his name but he scored one of the fastest goal in the FA Cup Final. I think he subtained an injury that forced him into early retirement. He was a midfielder.

I think you are referring to Pierluigi Casiraghi. But he's a striker. Vialli's good friend.

Nope that not him. I remember that he was a good looking bloke. He is a midfielder. I think the FA Cup Final was in 1999. Chelsea beat Boro 2-0 with him scoring within a couple of minutes of the match.

NEXT MATCH
Charlton (Home)
Sat 9 Sep

What a week, what a weekend
Will 90 minutes be enough to discuss the week’s events and the weekend’s bogey fixture when we’ve got an old hand and a debutant live on Chelsea TV’s ‘Big Match Countdown’ at 6.30pm this evening, Friday?

Have we had closure on William Gallas? Can we now start getting excited about Ashley Cole and his left-back battle with Wayne Bridge? Why did Charlton re-invigour their bogey last season at Stamford Bridge and knock us out of the Carling Cup before becoming the only team to leave here with a League point?

Chelsea didn't played well but still managed to get a result. That's a sign of Champions!
