Re: Liverpool Fc Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Liverpool are reported to be close to finalising the signing of Paris Saint Germain striker David Ngog.
Reports in France suggest Liverpool have agreed a fee in the region of £1.5million with PSG for the 19-year-old. The youngster turned down a new deal at the Parc Des Princes and the club are now willing to let him move on. Ngog, who is a cousin of former Newcastle defender Jean-Alain Boumsong, is believed to have impressed Liverpool scouts after making his PSG debut last season. Liverpool are believed to have offered Ngog a four-year deal to move to Anfield and the highly-rated forward is expected to tie up his switch before the end of the week. source:Sky Sports | Football | Premier League | Liverpool | Reds to land striker

Re: Liverpool Fc Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
All the news and rumours on him to Liverpool is getting too positive.
Even the money we've got. And not yet buying any player. I guess, we might have reach this period where we need not hope. He is Liverpoolbound.

From across the medias: 1) Spanish winger Albert Riera is hoping he can engineer a move to Anfield and says to reject a switch to Liverpool would be 'madness'. 2) Liverpool to sign Newcastle midfielder James Milner. 7.25m. Berlin aftermaths: Rafa Benitez insisted he was working "very hard" to bring in a new striker after watching Liverpool fire blanks in Berlin's Olympic Stadium last night. Andriy Voronin missed a second-half penalty as the Reds produced a limp performance which only served to highlight why Benitez must break the bank to bring in Spurs hot-shot Robbie Keane. Without star players Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres they rarely threatened Hertha Berlin and were fortunate to escape defeat against their Bundesliga hosts. Benitez, who has yet to secure Gareth Barry's signature from Aston Villa, said: "We are working hard to bring in new players. Keane, liverpoolbound? ![]() alp.

I dunno anything bout him though ![]() Staying tune. http://sport.setanta.com/en/Sport/Ne...m-PSG-on-Ngog/ Another David Bellion into English Premier League? hahah.. (Rafa sounded pretty confident that a signing was coming - and it looks like it will be this teenager. Nice for the future, but will that settle the nerves of Reds fans?)

Re: Liverpool Fc Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Angry Martin O'Neill warns Liverpool: It's now or never on Gareth Barry ![]() Furious Martin O'Neill has told Liverpool to get on with their move for Gareth Barry or they will be barred from signing him. Villa are waiting to hear from Liverpool after rejecting a fourth bid of £15million plus Steve Finnan in exchange for the England midfielder. And with the Premier League season just three weeks away, O'Neill's frustration at Rafa Benitez's long-term pursuit of Barry has boiled over. The Villa boss is now threatening to set a deadline to block the move before it wrecks his own plans for the new campaign. "We don't know where we stand," moaned O'Neill, who played Barry in a friendly at Walsall on Tuesday. We have our own plans to make and we shouldn't be at the behest of Liverpool Football Club. "They have not officially come back to us in writing.. Football Spy - Mirror.co.uk ------------------------------------------ MON knew Barry wont be the player he once knew if mighty reds dont buy him... no choice but to play him this coming season... haiz....if only you (MON) accepted our bids earlier...all will ends well not SWELL !!!

Re: Liverpool Fc Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Robbie Keane's move to Liverpool has moved a step closer after the Irish international was left out of Tottenham’s friendly against Spanish side Hercules last night.
Confidence is growing at Anfield that Rafael Benitez will secure a deal worth up to ?20million for the striker, who has yet to publicly commit himself to Spurs in the wake of speculation about his future. Liverpool boss Benitez targets new left-sided winger: mid-price options such as Stewart Downing, of Middlesbrough, James Milner, of Newcastle United, and Albert Riera, of Espanyol. For best of everything, I prefer Keane and Downing. =x Alp.

Chances are now that we won't sign Barry. Alonso has come back with the rest of the Spanish lads, and his meeting with Rafa will be an important one. If he wants to stay and no one comes in for him, it's hard to see Rafa spending more on the midfield - regardless of how versatile Barry is on the left. Only party I feel sorry for is Barry himself, a villain (not Villian) after a decade of service. |

Re: Liverpool Fc Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Think Liverpool should not get Barry. Should get foreign talent, someone proven at the European stage. At that kinda money, we can get better Spanish players!

Re: Liverpool Fc Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Tremendous response from re-registration
Firstly, a big thank-you to everyone who has already been back to the site and re-registered. It’s given us a great start on ensuring we can communicate more effectively with you from here on. If you haven’t re-registered yet, please take a couple of minutes to do it: Click here to re-register your support A few people have asked why they need to provide more information, and what we’re going to do with it. Well, because buying a share in LFC would be an ‘investment’, we are bound by the financial authorities in each country where Liverpool fans who want to get involved live (and that’s a lot of countries!). So we need to know where you are, and that you are old enough to be a shareholder – that’s why we asked for date of birth. We know that’s sensitive for some people, so we’ve changed that to ask simply if you are older than 16 years, the minimum age for shareholders in the UK and Europe. We will only use your information to contact you about ShareLiverpoolFC activities – we will not pass your details to anyone else without your permission. That’s a promise. We’re all looking forward to the new season, and getting excited by the prospect of new signings. As football fans, how the team performs is our main interest. However, we’re told that any new money available to Rafa is having to be scraped together from player sales, or is more debt against the club. In the end, the current owners will be banking on revenues from us, the fans, to pay all of those debts back and produce a profit for themselves – if they don’t sell the club on to someone else before then. The only way we can stop the club being treated as a rich man’s plaything is to put the club into the hands of the people who care passionately about it – us, the fans. If we believe this is possible – and it is – it is achievable. But we have to act. We’re already planning ShareLiverpoolFC activities for the new season, so to keep in touch, make sure you have re-registered on our new site – and catch up with what’s been happening since we started. ‘Return and re-register’ Thanks.
