Let's focus back on football. No point beating Man U last week if we can't follow up with a victory against Villa. Hope we play well this sunday. We seemed to be at full strength, at least starting 11 wise. I wonder how Rafa's signing on 5 more years will motivate the rest of the players. Afterall, if reports about tying down Gerrard, Alonso, Reina, Kuyt and Agger are true, these players should surely be lifted. More long term money coming in. I'll be happy, will they be? Hopefully that translates into better performance on the pitch.
2-0 to the REDS tis wk end...

I am more than happy to be proven wrong.
The most infuriating thing was of course all the Manc bias that is revealed in these sorts of situations, both before and after the match.
But one thing bro, we wouldn't have won without Torres and Stevie, not because of their quality, but because they led from the top and they performed with absolute determination and passion.
How many times have we seen Stevie flap at OT. By his own admission too. Not this time.
That self-belief is going to do us real good for next season (and the CL this season). I'm sure of that.
sorry for the late reply. was busy replying the scum of the earth that i missed your post. my bad, my bad.
i hate to say this but u r right about gerrard and torres. torres especially cos he only seemed interested to play only when gerrard is playing. but he was chasing around in that match, together with gerrard and kuyt, leaving the defenders and defensive midfielders no time to make calculated passes.
rafa, IMHO, has got it right many seasons ago with his tactics to kill manure already. unfortunately, things just happened. if i m not wrong with my memory, he always made sure he had the strongest men in central midfield so that liverpool would control it. that is manure's weakest link when roy keane left. no one left, well except for darren fletcher. but if gerrard or mascherano or alonso (all worldclass midfielders) cannot totally boss even fletcher around, then they ought to lose, ya?
the only difference this time is that mascherano or hyypia did not get sent off, torres was able to atone (on behalf of) the mistake fast and liverpool were able to keep their shape. u should expect them to trounce manure more often from now on, ya?

kiko, kiko... cant zap u anymore, cos i have already done so. liverpool is afraid of no one at the moment. i dont know if the draw has been done, but most of us r wishing for manure. nothing more satisfying than kicking shit when it is down, ya???
it is very obvious that u r not a liverpool fan, i have seen u putting the gunners logo in yr siggie. so, do us a favour here, ya? we would be ashamed to know that u have switched to supporting liverpool. tell u what, manure r 4 points ahead and has a game in hand... it would be wiser for u to support them cos they have the best chance to win the premiership this season. now, fuck off and dont come back, u bloody loser!!!
