Which temple or LP are u referring to that doesnt chant the final verses due to the amulets not being images of buddha?

I am not too sure on which Wat or LP with regards to the final verse , its just what I heard from my friends.

These pieces of Khun Paen is what I got from a friend who collects, I just borrow his amulets and show you guys of the different varieties of collection of Khun Paen available.

Yup... I agree... they even have a trolley or table outside where they "lelong" amulets and cloths for as cheap as $5... I was quite turn off at the sight of people digging into the heap of amulets like aunties looking for bras of correct sizes at a lingerie fair....

golden mile level 1, there is this store that sells a lot of magazine. i saw qiuite a lof of amulet magazine. u go there level 1 walk around, sure can see.

Mostly butterfly amulets n is quite a big piece though. Some are like 2 spot ( dunno how to describe) and nothing much to see also. I thought can see various type of amulets but disappointed. So bros here can go if u wanna see other things like gals or wat. If the store did add any other amulets then i can't vouch for that.

well... i have both items from LP Lum.. so far only wear the tarkut... the kring i put on my shell... hm... cn only say... so far so gd... not bad la consider.
but just a caution.. buy it only u have knowledge on what is all about and DUN LET PPL INSITIGATED IT! if u know what i mean... it work on 'A' dosent mean it surely work on 'B'... some more still have a lots of dealer friend come in to help adv..... ;) so make it look like one u have it u r 'tian xiao wu di' liao.. buy toto tio toto but 4d tio 4d.....

there r 2 temple code some have 3 or 1... but mostly is 2.....

the flying as in mention one is something in silver colour and the 2 code is one head one tail... is about 2cm long.

For those who wants to test their amulet's metta, the best way is to try it on children.

I have no affinity for children and babies since young. These young kids will shun away from me or cry when I try to carry them. I give up trying to coax them.

That was until I wear my LP Tim KP, babies start smiling at you and young kids wanting to get close to me.

Once I take the KP off, the same old situation occured.. :(

No wonder LP Tim KP so expensive as this is one of the better KPs that really jalan.

However, I don't really wear it often as the outflow of cash is pretty enormous.. that's the price to pay for a good KP.

I still prefer my Somdej. :)

I am interested in metta amulets since 10yrs ago..all my amulets are real stuffs! currently i got an amulets name :"mae tong suai" from ahchan wala,a very famous black magician from southen thailand.Ahchan wala has 32 wife himself and he is famous making luck and metta for ppl who is involve in entertainment industrial.Singaporean has invited him to come over but due to his shedule he rejected.Another reason also bcos he is a rich and famous ahchan in thailand so money doesnt attracts him to fly over.But i went there personally to get a few amulets(limted due to source) from him and it doesnt cost cheap..ranging from $800-$3000sgd..All his amulets was make of various kinda stuffs including dead women bond,cemetary soil and oil extract from the women lower chin who commited sucided after her boyfriend had ditch her,ahchan wala had a deal with her soul and she agreed to help those who wear her amulet.Anyone interested to find out more can email me: [email protected]

But if i'm not in SG, am I able to obtain one?I initially got 1 from a thai monk in BKK.4got which temple as i went there on holiday with my ex-gf & her family. End up i accidentally pushed the plastic casing inwards. So i asked my gf's mum to help me bring it to shop and fix it. Who noes, shortly after our trip back to SG, my gf broke up with me.....SIghz...I nv got the amulet back nor saw that thai amulet again. Needless to say, i was advised not to get back the amulet by some friends. I think i remember it was made somewhere in 2003/4 showing a picture of a monk, very vintage color. Looks quite old to me). It did come with beads encased in plastic.

My main point is, I saw quite a number of amulets selling off e-bay.(Not those cheapo USD$5 ones....) Was wondering if any experienced bros(i.e. bro virgin_lover, bro slipper etc.) would care to advise me further?

Basically, i hope to improve my current life. Somehow things don't go right for me now.Get tired & sick quite easily(not that I didn't take care of my health).Just wish bros out there could assist me though i remember experienced bros mentioning not to waste erm...that amt. of $$$ on 'fake' amulets.

Below are a few Archan Wala amulets which i had collected during this few years in thailand.FIY Archan Wala has stop making amulets due to time and lack of resource.

Juz come back from Thailand today, had bought 1 x Sothon, 1 x Phra Somdej, 1 x Phra Khun Paen. Was told by the monk to wear the amulets such tat Sothon is on the right hand side, Somdej on the centre, Khun Paen on the left hand side. Any Bro can share his knowlegde on the above Thai Amulets

Lastly, I do not had any Altar at home and happen saw a thread stated tat amulets should not be kept in the Room even it is hang or keep on the high area (eg Study Table). Is it true?? I wear 7 amulets most of the time on a chain on my neck and keep takruts on my keychain.
its ok to clip amulets to your shirt or some of my friends they also clip rahu or loop oms to the back of their shirt at back of the neck/head, its all fine as long as you remember to keep images of BUddha and monks above the waist, i.e, don't clip your amulets in your pants pocket.

it is advised not to keep amulets in your room coz thats where we often change, etc which may be disrespectful to the amulets/Buddhist images, as long as you treat your amulets with respect, even if you rent a room or have little choice but to put your amulets with you in your room , it is fine too.

Those whom swing their amulets around the incense urn at GYT are those whom believe by doing so, they will recieve blessings of the Boddhisatva.=)

I have an amulet passed down from my grandfather, from history it is around 100 years. I have taken it to a shop in Chinatown Zhen Zhu Da Sa, he offered a price of SGD$10k for this amulet if I not wrong he is now a Monk based in Thailand (Jimmy if not wrong). I refused to sell due to my grandfather, but I really wish to know what this amulet is all about.

Description

The amulet is black in color, big and it is 2 face (on the fornt is a Monk and back is a Buddha). I heard from the guy who wants to buy this saying that this is the most unique amulet first done by Long Po Koon (Sorry maybe spelling mistake), able to bring in luck and everything to the wearer.

IF this cannot be solved when I go back Singapore this Dec I will take a pic and post it here for more to help me.

clipping it at your pants pocket u mean?
Shirt pocket is fine as it is above the waist.
even if u clip it at your pants pocket, i think no one would know if the amulet loses its 'power' or whatever, its just not a respectful place to wear your amulets, if you have no choice, cannot wear chain, etc then get either takruts or parakits to wear as these items can be worn on the pants pocket.

The carvings on your amulets should or could be khom letterings or yants, magical scripts, etc.=)

No clear answer to what is better material, powder, clay, metals, etc all depends, some powder contains bailan-ashes from burnt scriptures, metal alloys include some metals from molten takruts, alms bowls, etc and it all depends on what you like.=) *and most importantly what u can afford.* they do make amulets from pure gold if you are loaded.hehee

Sometime in Jan this year, I bought a gold pendant with a "Four Face Buddha" (encase) in it at one of the shop selling Buddhist items at the MBK in BKK. I think it's at 4th floor. The lady told me that the Buddha was blessed by the monk. It cost me 1600B. What she say is true or did I got ripped off by her?

Anyway, ever since I wear the Buddha, till now, everything went smoothly for me.

No complain about it. It's just that I want to know whether the shop sell "fake" amulets as what had been discussed in this thread.

as for the list of dos and dont's, i think many of them are not practical and so i believe as long as we take utmost care in handling and wearing our amulets with respect, that is good enough for me.=)

Kp amulets are for metta.. not really lady luck i feel. metta.. you get well liked by people. as well as girls included.

a small image behind i believe it's gumantong. not a real gmt but normally there would be a gmt behind or under lord buddha on kp amulet, cuz ask u noe kp is the creator/father of gmt. so it's just there to symbolise, ur not really wearing a gmt.

outflow alot = cause you metta well liked by people.. go out more or go out with girls more so you tend to spend. for me i never encounter this maybe cuz i never social much. but some people may want to wear a wealth amulet with kp if you are worried about it. sangachai is one example :)

Four face buddha or what the locals call phra pol arised from a legend.outside buddhism.its a traditional guardian of the land in four directions N S E W.Not many temples makes them anymore even if there is, its rare be it new or old. at 1600B with gold case, i would say its pretty new item but not fake. this is very rarely a speculation item so no worries bro:D

Basically it is suppose to bring good charisma. however it so happens to attract women exceptionally well. once u are able to attract lots of women, naturally, u will be spending alot of $$$$ that's logic. so u should actually try to attract women with lots of $$$$ to reverse its natural law. the most famous khun paen is from bang gang their retail price are now in the thousands range how ever i have a very rare piece wihich is beyond that era the last time i saw mine(of same type, year and origin) being sold at $3800. after a lot of bargaining. however, i had mine for a long time. if u wear it and u don't think of only women but for career and business, u won't get all these women problems. its really what u want it to do that counts. just my 2 cents

the newer versions of khun paen will have all this wives options. like i say the most valuable is from ban gang. the unique thing about them is that u can never find an identical twin. colour is of bright orange to dull orange in colour its made of some unique red earth. the one i have is before this batch, red earth and human ashes its very rare so far i have only seen 3 around and i saw one being sold ae $3800 years ago. ps. if your thoughts are good, it will help u acheive your goals. but if its negative, it will still help u but with heavy consequences

Khunpaeh works faster, i agree with that. But different images for different purpose i do not really agree to it, let say when a luang phor or archan chant a khunpaeh.. i don't think there are different kinds of gathas but only 1 type of khunpaeh gatha. So the purpose is still the same. :)

That second picture is LP Tim of Wat Phrakeow not LP Tim of Wat Lahanlaai.The one being sought after is LP Tim Wat Lahanlaai Plai Guman Khunphen.

LP Tim Wat Phrakeow is still alive i think.. and it's still easy to get that khunpaeh :)

There's 2 different kinds of Khunpaehs. Long ago there's this devas or buddha and people made his amulet. These are those with proper lord buddha images on the amulet.

But since Khunpaeh general famous 400+ years ago, people make him into Khunpaeh amulets also but these amulets are those withut proper buddha image and are those carrying swords, woman, chicken, gumantong etc..

I have a pendant/amulet of the buddha with one of his palm open and there is a tiger below him. Made of bronze but encased with gold and was from Thailand.

I have been wearing this for about 6-7 yrs and it was given to me by a Thai friend.

I dont have much knowledge about Thai amulets. I wear the pendent everywhere I go and take it off whenever I reach home or before I get into bed when cheonging.

yup bro insanity,yes bro The Renegade, the shop have such casing but i sugest that u should go for water proofing ur amulets rather than steel casing if ur amulet is made of clay or powder. U know moist or leaked in sweat can spoil ur amulet or cause fungi to grow. Heard from someone b4 that his amulet damm power cos it can change color as time passes from black to white. but when i meet him. i realised is mould.lol. hmmm i just say things b4 hand hoh, i am in no way related to this shop or watever . Just mentioning it cos it is a convenient way for bros in the north area and the cost of amulets ae quite reasonable.

gold casing included means you probably would have to have the right deal from collectors whom may exclude the cost of the gold from the amulet's cost, if you get from shops, most of the time, you have to pay for gold too, which is at a all time high recently, so i wish you luck, coz that may mean a 100+ to 200 dollars less for your amulet depending on cost of the gold box, casing, etc.=)

True but recently my bro got wear one given by my father but everytime he wear his heart will very pain and when stop wearing is ok. After some time the pendent was taken to pray and see by a monk who told my father that there is a crack in the buddha so don wear is better.

That pendant has not been worn for 2 years (since death of my grandfather), it is put on my house the alter. So now I am the new wearer I will need to get it bless son know if what I say is correct cause I also don know.

So would appreciate any bros to recommend, I will post the pic here once everything is ok.

Y did you ask yr friend to bring yr somdej to BBK for blessing? Which "wat" did he go to? I believe some monk is not qualify to perform chant on amulets. Tat y, I ask for advice (refer to my last post).

U can go to chua chu kang thai temple or wat ananda at bukit merah to ask the monk over there too. Maybe they got even better stuffs .

Then saw a small LP Pern Tiger amulet 2nd batch cost ard $140..:eek: Wah ask the shop owner y the different tat 2nd batch cost more than 1st batch, he say that the small LP Pern amulet 2nd batch contain the hairs and a small piece of gold stick (less than 5cm) of the late LP Pern. LP Ngern is not the one sitting on tiger. Besides LP Pern, LP Tiam also sit on tiger one. :)
LP Ngern is very popular with businessman as they believe that he will bring them luck. The 2545 batch should cost around less than 100 bucks.

Came to seek for advise again, I need a casing for my amulet but could not find it anywhere in Singapore. Is there anyone who can recommend to me? I do have some requirments,

1) I want gold casing,
2) I need the sides of the casing to have design (design must be nice).
3) I don mind giving deposit but I would never leave my amulet there,
4) I need the amulet to be airtight and waterproof.

Also I need the price for these following cause I really don know much, pls don offer me to go Thai and do...

Bro, if E have 2532 and 2543, then go for it lo...the 2545 is a newer batch lo.
There is no difference except for the year that it was made.
LP Ngern are very very good - BEST!!! :D

It is made by his temple, Wat Ban-Klang, Pitchi.
LP Ngern lives 100 plus years ago. And he does make amulets also but it is very very expensive nowadays, dun even dream of it also!!!

When you say expensive, hw expensive??? > SGD 1000?? :eek: As for me, when I buy amulets, not only consider $$$ but also consider wat the does the amulet for (eg: Metta, wealth, health etc).
