Report from Bangkok Post dated Saturday 31 December 2005 :-

TIES WITH MALAYSIA / VEHICLE THEFT, SMUGGLING : Thai Customs finally agrees to beef up surveillance

ASSAWIN PAKKAWAN WICHAYAN BOONCHOTE

Songkhla _ Customs officials have finally tightened their surveillance after eight years of continuous complaints from Malaysia that nearly 2,000 vehicles were stolen from its territory and smuggled into Thailand for sale. ''Our inspections have indicated that the cars were smuggled into the South by being hidden in cargo containers, ships, or being simply sent through some poorly-patrolled border checkpoints along the Thai-Malaysian border,'' said the director of the Regional Customs Bureau 4 Rakope Srisupha-at. According to an official Malaysian report, a total of 1,722 vehicles were stolen over a seven-year period since 1997, and most were motorbikes.

Many of the stolen vehicles were dismantled by car theft gangs in Malaysia itself and then exported as spare parts to Indonesia and Singapore, while Thailand served as a transit point through which the cars were delivered to customers in Laos and Burma, Mr Rakope said.

So far, Thai customs officials have seized 29 cars, all suspected to have been stolen from Malaysia. ''There must be orders first and a gang in Thailand then sends down payments from customers to its affiliated gangs in Malaysia,'' said a garage owner, who asked not to be named. ''A car is then stolen and sent to Thailand as a tourist car,'' he said.

The Customs Department has ordered its officials to keep an eye on cars being imported from Malaysia, especially second-hand vehicles. But Mr Rakope said, ''We have to be extra careful because if the checks are too rigid, it could hurt the tourism industry.''

The department is also investigating whether its custom officials were involved in the smuggling racket. The department has already transferred nine of its officials suspected of helping the smugglers.

However, Mr Rakope said not all complaints were linked to car theft gangs.

He said some Malaysian car owners who defaulted on instalments crossed into Thailand and sold their cars here before going back to report their cars stolen. A theft would allow them to claim the insurance money.

Rights Group Says Southern Thais Attacked by Militants, Government
By Scott Bobb
Bangkok
04 January 2006

Thai soldier takes up position on armor car as he guards temple in Pattani province
A human rights group says people in Thailand's south are caught between violent attacks by suspected Muslim separatists and an overly harsh response by Thai security forces. Amnesty International issued the report, two years after an attack on a military base reignited decades-old tensions in the region.

The human rights group Amnesty International says the Thai government has used arbitrary detention, torture, and excessive force in seeking to quell two years of violence in which more than 1,000 people have been killed.

The cycle of violence began when unidentified gunmen attacked a military base in Narathiwat province two years ago, killing four soldiers and seizing hundreds of weapons.

The Director of Amnesty International in Thailand, Boonthan Verawongse, notes that since then there have been hundreds of attacks, most of which have gone unpunished. He says the atmosphere of impunity has been aggravated by an emergency law that prevents security officials from being prosecuted for human rights violations.

"One of the big problems is regarding the question of impunity that has been stated as the main part of the amnesty decree, which the government inaugurated in July of last year. And this is one of the very big issues in the human rights violations," said Mr. Boonthan.

The Thai government blames the violence on separatists, criminals, and corrupt officials. Drive-by shootings and bombings by these groups have caused scores of deaths, many of them among security forces. But Amnesty International said the government's response has been excessively violent and called for an investigation into allegations of torture and disappearances. It also called for all detainees to be given access to lawyers, medical care and their families.

The Thai government denies it has used excessive force and says it adheres to the rule of law in trying to solve the problem. Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra at a news conference late last year said his government would address the lack of jobs and social services that it believes are the underlying causes of the violence.

"We will spend most of our efforts to bring the understanding and the development and the better education and employment for the majority of the people," he said.

But the Thai prime minister has also vowed to bring lawbreakers to justice.

Amnesty International's Mr. Boonthan says local residents are suspicious of the central government. "If you want peace, work for justice. If the government [officials] are sincere enough to work for peace then they have to work for justice in order to resolve the conflict," he commented.

The region was an independent sultanate until 100 years ago, when it was annexed by Bangkok. A separatist movement emerged in the 1970s and '80s, but declined under an amnesty in the 1990s. The resurgence of violence has hurt tourism and investment and caused many residents to leave.

Insurgency still rages in southern Thailand
BANGKOK: Two years after suspected Muslim militants raided an army base in southern Thailand and set off a bloody insurgency, the region is driven by distrust and peace remains a distant prospect, analysts say.

A daily tide of violence in the Muslim-majority provinces bordering Malaysia has left more than 1,000 people dead since the January 4, 2004, raid, and critics say government efforts to rein in the violence have been woeful.

Bangkok has tried dumping 120 million paper birds from aircraft in a symbolic peace drop and pledging cable television for village teahouses as part of efforts to bring peace.

But despite repeated government assurances that the unrest is under control or declining, the frequent killings—two men were found shot and beheaded on Monday—suggest otherwise.

It appeared an end to the violence was a long way off, said Sunai Phasuk, Human Rights Watch consultant on Thailand.

“Until now, the militants haven’t identified themselves or made clear their objectives and that in itself indicates they don’t have any intention to start negotiations with the government,” he told AFP.

“We’re talking about a double failure.

“We know the government can’t solve the militants [problem], the second is the government can’t win the trust of the locals,” said Sunai, blaming officials for abuses which started with the investigation into the original January 4 raid.

Former Prime Minister Anand Panyarachun, whom Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra tapped in February to run the government-appointed National Reconciliation Commission, has said Bangkok must admit and apologize for past abuses.

When Anand was appointed to the commission and charged with devising a peace plan, the death toll stood at around 610. It is expected to publish its recommendations in March.

The restive provinces once formed an autonomous Muslim sultanate until they was annexed by Thailand a century ago. Separatist violence has periodically flared since then, but the groups who led the last campaign in the 1970s largely disintegrated in the 1980s and many members are in exile.

Abdul, a villager in Narathiwat province who asked his full name not be used because of fears for his safety, said government officials had failed to build unity and peace over the past two years.

He said the main reason was the officials, who are all Buddhists, lacked understanding of the roots of the problems and Thai Muslims’ ways of life.

Buddhists form the majority in this country of about 63 million people. Muslims make up fewer than five percent and most of whom live in southern Thailand. Many Muslims are ethnic Malays who speak Yawi or Malayu dialects, not Thai.

A controversial emergency decree the government introduced in July 2005 and renewed for an extra three months in October allows detention without trial and gives officials immunity from prosecution.

“While the decree gives more power to state officials to arrest and detain suspects, it has failed to regain the trust of local people toward the government and somehow made it worse,” Abdul said.

The head of Pattani’s local administration, Ahmad Somboon Bualuang, said he could not see any improvement in the situation.

Instead, economic conditions had deteriorated, with incomes cut to around one third of what they were before 2004, because people were afraid of leaving their homes and tourism had crashed.

“I haven’t seen any improvement over the past two years, even though the government has tried to present positive images about what’s going on,” he said.

“In fact, local people feel more pressure as the authorities cannot explain clearly who is actually behind the violence, and they’ve arrested a number of people who haven’t done anything wrong,” Ahmad added.

Deputy Prime Minister Chidchai Vanasatidya said on Sunday the government would work harder to end the violence.

“Officials do not really understand the problem clearly and they haven’t implemented follow-up measures,” Chidchai conceded. “Lots of things have to be done.”

Report from Bangkok Post dtaed Friday 6 January 2006 :-

Police hunt bomb suspect in Bangkok : Wanted for Hat Yai airport, other attacks

By Bangkok Post Reporters

Police are hunting a Muslim suspect implicated in numerous bomb attacks in the far South and who is believed to be in hiding in Bangkok, Crime Suppression Division (CSD) commander Pol Maj-Gen Vinai Thongsong said yesterday. The man, identified as Faisol Hayesama-aae, 23, is suspected of having perpetrated the Hat Yai airport bombing, which killed and wounded scores of people in April of last year.

He also allegedly trained Muslim insurgents, including those who carried out the bombing in Muang district of Narathiwat on Nov 2.

Mr Faisol is among the CSD's most wanted criminals. He was nowhere to be found when police raided his house in tambon Lam Mai of Yala on April 14 last year. The police seized documents from his house preaching separatism.

Police are sifting through reports of his possible hideouts in the capital, Pol Maj-Gen Vinai said. Mr Faisol is also reportedly eyeing a certain area on Ramkhamhaeng road where he plans to use a school to train new bombers for future sabotage missions.

The CSD and Metropolitan Police Bureau have formed a joint investigation team to search for the suspect.

Two Muslim criminals identified as Aswan Awae Aji and Sahe Baha, who were involved in the bomb blast plot in Muang district of Narathiwat, admitted to police that Mr Faisol trained them and other teenagers in the three southernmost provinces on how to make bombs.

According to the police investigation, Mr Faisol himself received terrorist training in the Middle East and he specialises in bombing via remote control.

A court in Yala last year approved an arrest warrant for Mr Faisol over allegations that he collaborated in clandestine separatist missions.

The CSD is preparing to post Mr Faisol's photo on its website and to ask people for tip-offs on his whereabouts.

Meanwhile, three suspected militants were detained yesterday for questioning in connection with a series of violent attacks, including the beheading of an army sergeant.

Mahamaropi Yashi, Husbulloh Dueramae and Hama Pohtae were quizzed during a pre-dawn raid by a 100-strong security team at Ban Ubeng, of tambon Patae in Yaha district.

An intelligence report from Yala's police forward command centre revealed the trio had a hand in the ambush of a teacher's protection force which left one policeman killed and four other officers injured.

Police were investigating to see if they were also involved in the beheading of an army sergeant in Bannang Sata district. The suspects were taken to the forward command centre for further questioning.

Meanwhile, authorities defused a bomb in downtown Yala's Muang district last night.

The bomb was planted in the back of a pick-up truck parked outside a pub on Ruam Mit road. It was made of 10kg of fertiliser and detonated by mobile phone.

Another bomb was found on Than To-Betong road in tambon Rae in Than To district when authorities were clearing spikes from roads.

They spotted a suspicious-looking PVC pipe which was stuffed with a dynamite stick. The device failed to explode apparently because the fuse failed to light.

In Yala, a man was shot and seriously wounded in a gun attack believed to be carried out by Muslim militants yesterday.

Anand Issaro, 27, was on a motorcycle with his wife riding pillion on road No 410 (Krong Pinang-Bannang Sata) in Yala's Krong Pinang district, when two snipers on a motorcycle drew level and the pillion rider opened fire at him several times.

Two Thai policemen killed in insurgency in south

BANGKOK (Reuters) -- Insurgents killed two policemen in the Muslim-dominated south of Thailand on Saturday and a bomb wounded three people, including a Malaysian, in the latest attacks in the restive region, police said.

The policemen were on duty in a market in the southern province of Yala when two gunmen opened fire, killed the officers and stole their weapons, a police official said.

In another incident on Saturday, a bomb exploded at a tea shop and slightly wounded three people in the town of Sungkai Kolok, on the border with Malaysia, police said.

"One of them is a Malaysian and other two are the tea shop owner and a customer," a police spokesman told Reuters.

Gun and bomb attacks have killed more than 1,000 people and become a part of daily life in Thailand's three southernmost provinces of Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat since violence flared in January 2004.

The presence of 30,000 soldiers and police in the region, where 80 percent of the people are Muslim, has mostly angered local southerners who have complained of unfair treatment at the hands of Bangkok officials.

A Singapore-based security expert warned last week that Bangkok could face a terrorist attack within a year as tension rises between Muslim and Buddhist communities in Thailand's south, home to most of the country's 6 million Muslims.

Thailand's 63 million people are mostly Buddhist.

Rohan Gunaratna, a security analyst at the Institute of Defense and Strategic Studies (IDSS), said the Thai government needs to expand its intelligence network, engage the country's Muslim political leadership and work with Malaysia to stop the spread of cross-border terrorism.

Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra has dismissed the threat of an attack in Bangkok and his government insists it is making progress in ending the unrest.

THAILANDS TOP 5 SEX DESTINATIONS
1) PATTAYA Here's a city with more places to find a woman than places to find a newspaper. Family-type tourists are shocked by Pattaya Beach and the seedy bar-beers and a-go-gos that make Vegas seem like a Montana ranch. Tourists seeking sun, white beaches and clean water are well-advised to amend their itineraries. But there's a seedy funkiness found here. The place seems to revel in its anti-hipness. When the U.S. Navy's in town, the resort swells to 15,000 or more hookers, some from as far away as Chiang Mai. An entire soi in South Pattaya is "zoned" for gay entertainment- Boystown. Pattaya may be Thailand's gay mecca. For the greatest variety of sexual entertainment options, without having to deal with Bangkok traffic to find them, Pattaya ranks as Thailand's premier sex destination. It receives our grand prize as the Pagan of Siam.

2) BANGKOK This is where it all started-as far as foreigners are concerned. GIs on R&R from the war in Vietnam transformed a haven for Asian sex seekers into a den of sin, American style, by overrunning the recently developed red-light Patpong area. For sheer outrageousness and variety of sexual entertainment options, Bangkok is perhaps unsurpassed in the world. The city's Patpong area is the most legendary sexual mecca on the planet, where anything and anyone-despicably, at any age-can be had for a price. Elsewhere, sickeningly, bogus "escort" and "guide" services provide children as young as 10 years old for short-time sex. Child prostitution and slavery is the biggest boil on Thailand's back, and nowhere is it in more abundance than in Bangkok. From 200-baht short-time hookers to 30,000-baht call girls, from the a-go-gos of Nana Plaza to the tea houses of Chinatown, from full body massages to secret snuff sessions, Bangkok is the big reason why at least 70 percent of all foreigners who visit Thailand are male. But Bangkok is a huge, rank city with the worst traffic problem in Asia, if not the world. It can take an hour to move only a few hundred meters. The City of Angels is rapidly losing its appeal as a hub for Southeast Asian tourism, as more and more potential visitors are asking themselves: Why bother? But the city's fleshpots will continue to prosper, even in the worst of times.

3) PHUKET Slowly becoming a shadow of its former self for sex tourists, more and more sun seekers and conventional vacation tourists are overrunning this idyllic tropical island. Bar-beers and sexotic shops are beginning to close up shop, as the fear of AIDS is keeping increasing numbers of sex seekers away. Patong Beach is where the action is, with a number of a-go-gos and perhaps 100 bar-beers. A much younger clientele is found down here than in Bangkok. But Phuket is becoming expensive, and so are its girls. Gays will have a more difficult time consummating their pursuits in Phuket than any other sex destination in Thailand.

4) CHIANG MAI It's a shame people target Chiang Mai as a sex destination, with so many other things to do in the magnificent region of Northern Thailand. And not many folks do, fortunately. As a sex destination for farangs, Chiang Mai's offerings pale in comparison with Pattaya, Bangkok and Phuket. The options are quite limited and confined to a very small section of the city. But if it's sex you're seeking, you'll easily find it here. The number of sex tourists has dramatically fallen off in recent years, according to the locals, as well as tourists in general. The traffic problem is getting worse here, as companies relocate here from Bangkok, seeking to escape the capital's chaos and myriad pollution and mobility limitations. Problem is, they're bringing those problems with them.

5) HAT YAI A boom town, but a sexual and touristic backwater. Few farangs come here to get laid. Hat Yai is a huge sex stop-but instead for Thai Muslim insurgents and horny, Koran-circumventing Malaysians who hop across the border once a week to get a nut and go shopping. Hat Yai has none of the bar-beers and a-go-gos found in Thailand's other sex stops. Instead, girls are offered at hotels, barbershops, hair salons and the region's vast number of songs-or brothels-which outnumber 7-11s by about 11 to 7. Many of the hilltribe girls bought out from their families by sex slavers end up in the southern provinces. Some don't see the light of day for years, until their debt is paid off.

Hatyai – anxiously referred to as the Land of Dreams where local women from all over Thailand come to seek better lives and men from all over South East Asia come to have their sorry hearts broken.

Hatyai – eagerly referred to as the Anchor of Activities where sex is as common as shopping and visiting massage parlors is as common as visiting temples.

Hatyai - jokingly referred to as the City of Fakes where men wear fake Rolex watches, fake Dunhill belts and fake Bally shoes while women carry fake Louis Vutton bags, wear fake Channel blouses, fake Levis jeans and put on fake Christian Dior perfumes. To say the extreme, you can even find women with “fake” beauty, from their nose jobs to their double eyelids, from their breasts to their private parts. Even virginity can be faked!

Being the third largest city in Thailand and one of the most common getaway for Asians, it is a pity that Hatyai has never been listed as a tourist destination for the Western tourists.

I was in Hat Yai over a year ago, so things may have changed, but for
the record I offer the following information: Hat Yai is a town on the
border with Malaysia and does a booming trade with sex tourists from
Malaysia. The town has a bit of a wild west type flavour to it, and
while I wouldn't describe it as overtly dangerous, you should, of
course, take the usual precautions with money etc.

I stayed at the Cathay Guest House above the Magical Tour Co on Nipat Uthit
Rd. Good clean place, reasonably priced and usually full of backpackers.
The old woman at the desk will usually go knocking on the doors of all
single male guests around 8-10pm most nights - failing this you can always
speak to her directly, or anyone behind the front desk. She offered a girl
for b1,200, which is a little expensive, but the time was from 4pm until
9am the following day. I graciously acepted and soon after a rather plump,
but attractive, girl arrived and I proceeded to get my money's worth.
Well, that is to say I would have, had I not been so loaded up on speed.
Anyone who has ever tried to fuck on speed will know that it can be an
impossible task. Eventually though, I did manage the act.

Back to the point; it was expensive but the girl was good at her job and
pleasant enough. It also eliminated the hassle of going out and looking
for something elsewhere and then bringing her back to the hotel. Also, the
hotel is a reputable one, and therefore I figured they would be unlikely to
supply me with a girl who would rip me off.

There are many "Barber Shops" and massage parlours all over the city with
the same one way mirror set-up as elsewhere in Thailand. I wouldn't travel
to Hat Yai especially for the women given what is on offer everywhere else
in Thailand, but if you're in the neighbourhood, or happen to be passing
through, then a stay of one or two days would probably be a good
investment. there are plenty o places to shop around, plenty of attractive
women to screw and basically the whole place (just like all of Thailand
really) exists for you to fuck.
Happy Hunting!!

Hat Yai is a major travel junction on the Malaysia/Thailand overland
route, and many Western visitors to this southern Thai metropolis are
just waiting for a minibus transfer or a share taxi or train outta
there. However, due to its proximity to the wealthy centers of western
Malaysia, Hat Yai has more than its share of professional carnal
delights. It's an Asian scene, with massage parlours, karaoke and
hotel services, rather than the bar-pickup scene found in farang
destinations like Bangkok, Pattaya and Phuket. If you can remember to
smile, treat people with respect and speak a little Thai if possible
(even badly), you'll have a great time, without the jaded tourist
hustle of some of the more heavily-travelled areas.

If you are travelling from Bangkok to Penang, and plan to take a train
(safe & comfortable), book an overnight sleeper to Hat Yai instead and
you'll save the exorbitant surcharges of the International
Express. The IE runs once a day, but you have a choice of five trains
a day to Hat Yai. Overnight there, enjoy yourself, and take a
share-taxi or minibus to Penang the next day. This never seems to
occur to many travellers, but most travellers seem more fixated on
cheap hotel rooms and banana pancakes than gorgeous young Thai women
with smooth-as-silk skin, ripe firm young tits and asses so firm that
you could bounce a five-baht coin off them. Ah well, to each their
own, but in Hat Yai, I leave the glum backpackers to their fruit
smoothies and head off in search of great cheap food (Malay, Thai,
Chinese, etc) and heavenly little cuties to pleasure my protruding
prong. Onward!

HOTELS: The central area is rather small and you will find many hotels
on and around Niphat Uthit Roads 1, 2 and 3. Most bellhops will pitch
girls to unaccompanied males in the elevator on the way to the room;
if not, just ask. Try the King's Hotel, where rooms are B250-400 (a
note on prices: all my Thai travels occurred before the baht
devaluation of mid-97, when the baht was pegged to the US dollar at
B25=3DUS$1. Prices are bound to have risen, as the baht now hovers at
B37=3DUS$1. Farang prices in Thailand vary, based on your bargaining
skills, the phase of the moon, and other factors). My first night
here, I accepted the bellhop's offer of an all-night girl for B1200,
a bit pricey as I specifically requested "smoke" (head), which is
still a bit of foreign concept in Thailand, the head being the highest
part of the body and sacred in Buddhism, but if you're reading this
far you should know that already! Anyway, she was delivered to my
room: a 7 or 8, late-twenties, a bit fleshy, fine firm tits and a
striking Bettie Page-type haircut which I wish more Thai girls would
adopt. She jumped in the shower and we went after it with condom
(again, if you're reading this far, you know to wear those
"one-finger gloves" when sportfucking). After I'd cum once, I
hopped in the shower myself, only to be joined by her. Cleanliness is
important in Thailand, and showering often with fragrant Lux body soap
is one of the charms of the entire experience; the girls do not
appreciate sweaty, dirty men and you'll have a much better
experience if you smile, joke around and keep it clean, you know what
I mean. Soap was deployed, suds flew about and the tiled bathroom
reverberated with laughter. We spent the next few hours fucking in
various positions, hopping in and out of the shower, and eating some
exquisite crab-fried rice which she ordered up from room
service. After eating, I suddenly remembered that I hadn't gotten
the head I'd requested, so that was her dessert; she was obviously
uncomfortable with the process (not part of her repertoire), but
delivered a passable, condom-free blowjob which resulted in orgasm
#3. After this, it was the usual "all-night" deal, as she said she
would leave and come back at 2 or 3 AM. This is why I seldom take Thai
girls all-night; they satisfy you, then go out and hustle short-times
and come back when they feel like it, so they can fuck you in the
morning (which ain't so bad), eat breakfast with you, etc. I'd
rather sleep alone, get my own breakfast and prowl around the next
day...some girls will of course stay all night, or all week if you
want, but a lot of working girls aren't willing to pass up "rush
hour" just to hang out with you. Don't take it personal; there are
few professions where people approach the midpoints of their careers
at age twenty-five or so. Anyway, I simply cut her loose, with a small
tip as a +++en of my appreciation.

Bro Taurus,

We had debated about the 'fact' that some hilltribe girls were 'sold' by their families because of poverty and that they are 'bonded' to the 'farms' until their debts (including interest charged) are fully paid off.

Some bros had disputed this 'statement' and stated that such things don't exist anymore.

What is your view on this subject ?

what i think is that there will still be supply becoz of demands...
unless there are no more hill tribes families..
and there will still be bastards or OKTs or agents trying to lure 'innocent and naive' young gals into this trade and trying each and every ways to rip off their youth in exchange for fast bucks...
only my personal view...

To me, it is still existing but you may not easily find them in Hatyai. So far, I was approached by those OKT's that offered underaged hill tribe girls [age 12 ~ 13] when I was in Golok way back in 1990. Of course lah, me no like young girls one..didi also can not stand! So declined loh.

To what I have seen [limited experience from such a short stay in Hatyai] those Hatyai WL's dun have features or resemble any of those Northern hill tribes [Meo and Lishu]. Most have Chiangmai / Chiangrai looks [Thai Yai], of course lah very pretty loh. :D

Report from The Nation dated Monday 9 January 2006 :-

SOUTH: FROM GUERRILLAS TO TERRORISTS-New face of violence : More Muslims than Buddhists being killed; battleground shifts from jungle to streets

While the nature of the insurgency has evolved from guerrilla tactics to urban warfare - in which militants are organised into small, independent cells - the authorities have failed to adapt. Instead they are continuing with the same security mandate and are treating the violence as, more or less, a conventional threat.

The previous generation of militants clashed with troops in remote hills and the jungle, but today’s violence is concentrated more on soft targets and religious sites. Yet the country’s policymakers and their security chiefs regard this shift as a “minor and insignificant difference”.

At a recent Chulalongkorn University seminar, an Army colonel from the Internal Security Operation Command (ISOC) dismissed outright any review of the security mandate and the tactics being used to tackle the violence.

To this particular colonel, the current generation of insurgents is carrying out the same guerrilla-style hit-and-run tactics and roadside bombings, followed by gunfights. So what is the big deal?

Maybe so. But a closer look at police data from the two years of incidents shows that most of the violence is occurring in towns and cities, which contrasts greatly to the activities of the previous generation of insurgents who clashed with government troops in remote hills and mountains.

Just as notably, and contrary to popular perception, most of the victims are local ethnic Malay Muslims, not Thai Buddhists. Ninth Police Region records show that more than half of the non-security personnel assassinated over the two years are Muslims. In Pattani, Muslim casualties number 330 against 141 Buddhists; in Yala it is 222 to 99; and in Narathiwat the figures are 1,406 to 237.

Officials say they believe many of the Muslim victims were either government informants or civil servants, and thus deemed acceptable targets to this generation of insurgents.

Conversely, most of the security officers killed in the line of duty, such as on patrol, were Buddhists - seeing as the forces assigned to the region come from all parts of the country.

According to the Fourth Army Region, between January 4, 2004 and January 4, 2006, a total of 1,076 people have died and 1,600 injured in the region. These deaths and injuries, inflicted by both government forces and the insurgents, were related to the separatist campaign.

Moreover, the collateral damage over the past two years has reached unprecedented proportions, as insurgents turn their guns more and more on non-security personnel.

Sydney Jones of the Brussels-based International Crisis Group has warned that if the conflict is perceived as one between Buddhists and Muslims it could drag foreign radical Islamic groups into what many perceive is a local issue.

Another disturbing point, warns Kumar Ramakrishna of the Singapore-based Institute of Defence and Security Studies, is that the Malay-speaking southern provinces may be heading along the dangerous path of religious conflict that will see Buddhists pitted against Muslims as more and more religious sites, temples and monks come under attack.

As he notes, the violence being directed against Thai Buddhist civilians today seems to be a departure from earlier methods in which the insurgents limited their attacks to security and government targets.

A tally of the incidents and the victims between January 2004 and November 2005 clearly indicates that the religious sector, both sites and people, are significant targets of today’s insurgents. The religious targets number eight in Pattani, 13 in Yala and 10 in Narathiwat, figures that are remarkably similar to those concerning attacks on police and security forces.

By comparison, the conventional separatist groups that emerged in the 1960s, who incorporated “ethno-nationalistic” ideology in their struggle, regarded Buddhist temples and shrines as being off-limits.

Today, it would seem that attacking religious sites and religious symbolism is the easiest way to shatter the fabric of society in the deep South.

Since the troubles began, four monks have been hacked to death and one has survived a machete attack. The first such attack was on January 22, 2004 and the latest at a temple on October 16 last year, when suspected militants slit the throat of a 76-year-old monk and killed two teenagers before torching the temple.

Shootings are the most popular means of inflicting violence. The highest number of attacks using guns is in Narathiwat with 1,586, followed by 465 in Pattani and 279 in Yala. The vast majority of shootings are of the “drive-by” type in which a gunman riding pillion on a motorcycle fires several rounds at point blank range at the victim.

Bombing attacks are more common in Yala. While the previous generation of militants used time bombs, today’s tactics have evolved with technology in which mobile phones are being used to remotely set off explosives.

The government has now required all prepaid mobile-phone users to register their phones with the authorities. But this tactic may not produce the desired result as prepaid SIM cards can be easily purchased across the border in Malaysia.

Explosives are sometimes hidden in cars but officials are refraining from using the term “car bomb” for fear that it could evoke the kind of images seen in the activities of terrorist groups in other countries.

Twice, Yala city hall has been attacked with explosives hidden underneath vehicles, while on December 23, about 15 kilograms of explosives were detonated in the heart of Narathiwat, injuring at least seven people.

At the provincial level, Narathiwat is the hardest hit over this past two years with nearly 1,000 violent incidents of all sorts. But at the district level, Yala’s Muang has the most with 198 incidents, followed by Narathiwat’s Rangae district, according to police records seen by The Nation.

Eight districts in the three southernmost provinces that saw a significant number of attacks were Pattani’s Muang and Yarang, Yala’s Muang, Than To and Raman and Narathiwat’s Muang, Sungai Padi and Rangae. The central city areas of the three provinces are major hot spots indicating that urban areas have become the battlefield, rather than rural areas and the jungle.

In spite of the number of troops with heavy firepower and relaxed rules of engagement, little headway has been made in terms of intelligence, much less new and more innovative strategies to win the hearts and minds of the local residents.

Demographic work has produced no meaningful policy other than the “zoning areas” that would colour-code each village to reflect the level of intensity of violence.

Tactically, zoning might serve as a reminder for troops on the ground when entering so-called “red areas”. But as the statistics show, the chances of being killed or attacked in towns and cities are as high as a military patrol being ambushed.

This is the concluding report of a three-part series. The earlier reports were published on December 13 and January 5.

Report from Bangkok Post dated Wednesday 11 January 2006 :-

Baht may hit 38 per dollar in Q1 2006

The Thai baht is likely to appreciate to 38 to the US dollar in the first quarter of this year because investors in the United States have shifted funds to invest in stock markets in Asia and weighed more investment in Thailand, according to a veteran banker.

Prasong Uthaisaengchai, Senior Executive Vice President of Bangkok Bank, said here on Tuesday that the US investors had sold dollars heavily and brought the money to invest in stock markets with more attractive returns since the US Federal Reserve signaled an end to its interest hikes following continued upward adjustment for up to 18 times.

Most investors have paid much attention to investing in Asian stock markets, resulting in all regional currencies, including the Thai baht, strengthening.

He said the Thai currency had rapidly appreciated since early this year because foreign investors brought a lot of funds to invest in the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET).

They viewed stock prices in Thailand are lower than those in other Asian markets.

The price/earning (p/e) ratio of the SET now stays at 8-9 times, while a p/e ratio of stock markets in neighboring countries average 13-14 times.

“The baht is very likely to strengthen to 38 to the US dollar in the first quarter of this year because the currency has rapidly appreciated since early this year. The baht used to appreciate to that level in the past,’’ he said.

With the strengthening of the baht, Mr. Prasong said, the country’s international reserve had increased to around US$54-55 billion baht.

The Bank of Thailand (BOT) has a duty to supervise the baht to ensure that it stays at an appropriate level, according to the veteran banker.

Singapore Telecommunications, Asia's fifth-largest phone company, was a likely buyer of the family stake in Shin Corp, a holding company that controls important firms in the sector, analysts said Monday.

China Telecom was another potential buyer for the stake, now worth about US$1.6 billion (HK$12.4 billion), that Thaksin handed over to his family when he went into politics, a move that has not prevented opponents of accusing him of shaping government policy to suit Shin Corp, they said.

Thaksin denies the allegations and Shin Corp has brushed off the rumors his family wants out of Shin, which has more than 20 companies under its umbrella in the wireless, satellite, Internet, budget airline and consumer finance businesses.

Many investors, however, believe there may be substance to the rumors. Last week, Shin shares romped to a 10-month high in the belief SingTel was serious about winning a greater presence in Thailand's lucrative cell phone market.

Shin, whose shares have shot up nearly 20 percent since the rumors began last month, owns a 43 percent stake in Advanced Info Service, Thailand's largest mobile phone operator with a 55 percent share of the domestic market.

SingTel, which has spent billions of dollars buying firms in high-growth Asian nations and Australia, already owns 19.26 percent of AIS and 1.08 percent of Shin, which is valued at US$3.3 billion on the Thai bourse. It is 49.61 percent owned by the Shinawatra and related Damapong families.

Analysts said it was possible that the Shinawatra family was considering moving into other businesses offering higher returns than a cell phone market that is moving rapidly towards saturation. "From a business perspective, it makes sense for the family to dilute the stake," said a telecoms analyst at a foreign brokerage .

It would also help AIS, because a company like SingTel would facilitate its move into 3G mobile services, which require massive investment and advanced technology.

SingTel would help strengthen AIS's position in a market where competition was expected to sharpen after Norway's Telenor had taken control of Total Access Communication, the number-two operator, analysts said.

Some analysts said a sale would also help improve Thaksin's image as he fights allegations that his government is growing more corrupt. Others doubt that would be the sole motive.

"It's clear that SingTel has an intention to get a bigger role in AIS," said Amarit Sukahvanij, head of research of Kasikorn Securities. "But it is hard to believe the sale is just for transparency of the family." Thaksin and his wife established a computer dealership in 1983. It grew into Shinawatra Computer and Communication, which changed its name to Shin Corp in 1999.

Thaksin resigned from every position in his telecoms empire and transferred shares to his family before entering politics.

If a deal goes through, the Shinawatras would be the third Thai family to sell at least some of its holdings in the telecoms business to a foreign company.

In October, the Bencharongkul family sold its 40 percent stake in UCOM to Telenor, giving the Norwegian firm a controlling stake in Total Access. In December, the Vilailuck family of Samart Corp sold a 24 percent stake in its cell phone distribution unit - reducing its stake to 49 percent - and all of its cell phone operation in Cambodia to Telekom Malaysia.

Thailand, which has a population of 64 million, has more than 29 million cellphone subscribers, or 46 phones per 100 people, versus 65 percent in Malaysia, roughly 40 percent in the Philippines and about 90 percent in Singapore.

The market is expected to grow 10 percent by the end of 2006, analysts said. Shin Corp shares rose 1.12 percent to 45 baht (HK$8.8) Monday. REUTERS

RED ALERT !!!!!

Report from Bangkok Post dated Wednesday 11 January 2006 :-

Rumours spread of 'days of danger' ( 10 to 29 January 2006 )
Deputy Prime Minister Chidchai Vanasatidya has dismissed rumours that further violence would occur in the three southernmost border provinces during a period of so-called "19 days of danger" coinciding with the Chinese New Year holidays.

Pol Gen Chidchai, who also is justice minister, said he had instructed authorities in the South, especially Narathiwat Provincial Police commander Pol Maj-GenYongyudh Charoenwanich, to stay on alert during the approaching Chinese New Year holidays because of rumours that violence will take place between Jan 10 and Jan 29 in the border region.

The deputy prime minister, scheduled to revisit the southern border provinces on Friday, assured the public that no critical action would take place during that period as has been speculated.

Interior Minister Kongsak Wanthana dismissed speculation that RKK or Runda Kumpulan Kecil, an armed group of Muslim insurgents thought to be specially-trained in Indonesia, had plotted further action during the days leading up to Chinese New Year.

Air Chief Marshal Kongsak said he had not been informed of any movement by the group -- which is suspected both of receiving specialised military training in Indonesia and of being implicated in the slaying of a Buddhist monk at Wat Prompasit in Pattani last year.

The interior minister asked the authorities--including the Ninth Provincial Police--to step up security measures throughout the region. He said the Thai authorities would not only have heightened security measures against possible insurgency during such holidays as the Chinese New Year but also during other times.

The authorities will adhere to the rule of law and continue to provide assistance for Southern villagers in a bid to keep them from being misled by the insurgents, he said. - TNA

Bro Taurus,

We appreciate your initiative with regular update on baht exchange rates. But are the rates for TT (transfers), as conversion for "cash" (notes) is less favourable? Just for practical benefit of bro samsters to be realistic when changing their small fortunes in LOS.

Caution: ATM exch rates really sucks (outside the bank charge/commission)

Cheers:rolleyes:

brudder..i think what i posted is suppose to be the basic guidelines from banks..
think bit less favorable when u do exchange in LOS..coz in the middle of the TT, there's bound to be ppl trying to earn something from it...
but think only slight fluctuations unless u change quite a lot(millions)...

P.S i always prefer and encourage brudders to do TT or exchange from agency or even from black market(at yr own risk)...better rates!

Thailand Forecasts 5 Pct. Economic Growth

© 2006 The Associated Press

Thailand's economy is expected to grow at least 5 percent in 2006 after expanding about 4.7 percent last year, the prime minister said Wednesday.

"I am confident that GDP growth for 2006 will be 5 percent in the worst case scenario," Thaksin Shinawatra told businessmen during a briefing on the economic outlook.

Thaksin said the government's will focus this year on economic reforms in all areas, including agricultural, education, technology, energy and financial services to increase the country's efficiency and competitiveness.

The government will also begin moving ahead with a planned 1.8 trillion baht (US$45 billion, euro37 billion) mega infrastructure project that will give a much-needed boost to the country's development, he said.

Thaksin said GDP growth for 2005 was expected to be around 4.7 percent after a difficult year that included a downturn in tourism from the tsunami, bird flu and rising oil prices.

"Even though we had many negative factors last year, our economy is still strong," Thaksin said.

The National Economic and Social Development Board will announce the fourth quarter GDP and the total growth for 2005 in March.

Thaksin also said that the Thai baht was expected to strengthen this year, but it will be in line with a broad dollar weakness and was expected to move in the same direction as other Asian currencies. The dollar was recently trading at 39.855 baht.

Thai goverment compound stormed

Protesters demanding the ouster of Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra broke into and briefly occupied the compound housing his offices in Bangkok, but left peacefully after appeals by demonstration leaders.

Many of the crowd had earlier attended an anti-government rally organized by media mogul Sondhi Limthongkul, who for the past several months has been leading a political crusade against Thaksin, accusing him and his government of corruption and abuse of power.

There had been several scuffles between supporters and critics of Sondhi at the rally, held in a downtown park, where the outspoken publisher made a speech highly critical of Thaksin before calling on his followers to march several kilometers (miles) across town to Government House.

Police estimated the crowd that arrived at Government House at about 2,000, with several hundred breaching its perimeter to occupy the lawn and parking areas outside the building.

They heard speeches denouncing Thaksin, and chanted calls for him to step down.

There were no immediate reports of violence.

The demonstrators appeared to have all left the compound by 1 am on Saturday (1800 GMT Friday), though many remained on the streets outside.

TD , u better follow this and practise with KLK when u both go break more records and maintain the records and the title.

i will be posting more Pre-trip warm up exercises......

Developing Stamina: Tongue Exercise
A lot of guys ask us, “How long should I do it?” And we answer them, “How long can you last?”

A lot of women might take 60 minutes OR MORE before they reach the heights of ecstasy. Yes, you heard me right. 60 minutes or more! So be patient. Expect to linger in the palace a while. Quite a while.

Unless you want to wear crutches in your mouth, developing a hardy tongue is key. But don’t expect to become Super-tongue in one day. Strength requires exercise.

The following exercise will allow your tongue to last for as long as you need it to, allowing you to give her prolonged, orgasmic pleasure she’s felt with no man before. You’ll need a clock or stop watch to count out the seconds. Practice each day for 2 weeks.

Tongue Exercise

1. Stick your tongue out of your mouth as far as possible.
2. Reach for your nose with your tongue.
3. Move your tongue around clockwise for 60 seconds.
4. Move your tongue around counterclockwise for 60 seconds.
5. Move your tongue up and down for 60 seconds.
6. Take a quick break and then repeat the exercise twice more for a total of three times.

My opinions la.... but think brudder Dekuip needless to read this..he is consider a walking encyclopedia concerning this!

1) Remember that there is no right or wrong way to "talk dirty." That it appeals to you and your partner is all that matters.

2) Reminisce about a previous sexual experience the two of you had that you found particularly memorable.

3) Tell him what you would be doing to him right now if he was there with you and ask him what he would do to you if he he was there with you.

4) Share fantasies.

5) Pretend that he is there, and tell him what you are doing to his body and what he is doing to yours.

6) Describe what you are doing to yourself and how it feels.

7) Tell him what exactly you enjoy about having sex with him.

8) Masturbate together and just listen to the sounds of each other's breath.

My problems...your problems ..our problems...!

While many men begin a slow but gradual decline in their 30s, there is no reason, assuming good health, that a man should not be able to perform sexually well into his 70s and beyond. Although a new study revealed that about half of all men over 40 have occasional problems with erections, this is often caused by other factors (whether emotional or physical).
On the other hand, as men age, there are changes that do take place. You will probably notice a difference between your new boyfriend and any previous partners you have had who were closer to your age. First, as men get older, they tend to take longer to get an erection and require more stimulation. Whereas men in their teens and early 20s often can't control how many erections they get, men in their 40s often need direct stimulation to become erect. Another difference is that as men age, they require a longer recovery period between orgasms. While a man in his early 20s can often become erect after just a few minutes, men in their 40s often require several hours between ejaculations.

However, there are also many positives. For one, men your boyfriend's age are less likely to have problems with premature ejaculation and will have more control. Plus, there is some truth that experience counts for a lot when it comes to sex. Men in their 40s are often far more attentive to their partner's needs and how to fulfill them.

So, yes -- there might be some differences, but sex is likely to be as good or even better with older men than with younger ones.

Reality TV with a twist: Thai PM cooks, nurses babies
(AFP)

20 January 2006

BANGKOK - Thailand’s latest reality show need not rely on fading celebrities doing stunts, nor sex between anonymous housemates - this show features the country’s prime minister cooking and riding a tractor.

“Backstage show: the prime minister” is what Thaksin Shinawatra calls “distance learning” for government officials in how to tackle poverty in the country’s northeastern provinces with the premier leading by example.

A billionaire whose family controls a telecommunications empire, Thaksin portrays himself in the five-day show as just an ordinary Thai in Isaan, the poorest region of Thailand.

He rides a tractor to a meeting with farmers, cooks them food, serves breakfast to Buddhist monks, and suggests ways the locals could earn more money.

Critics of the 24-hour cable TV show, filmed with 40 cameras and a crew of 100, argue it is simply a stunt by one of the country’s richest men to boost his sagging popularity after five years in office.

”Thaksin Fantasia”

Reality shows like “Big Brother” and a Thai talent competition called “Academy Fantasia” have become enormously popular here, mainly among the urban middle class that can afford cable or satellite television.

That has led the local press to dub the premier’s programme ”Thaksin Fantasia”.

The prime minister ignores the barbs of the media and argues that his is a more noble cause: an attempt to educate officials in how they can improve the livelihoods of millions of Thais.

“I’m not concerned about criticism,” he said. “I totally focus on the (programme’s) effectiveness. I don’t target farmers as the audience, but the government authorities.”

Thaksin advised provincial governors to watch his conversations with farmers as “homework” for lessons in fighting poverty in their own regions.

This maddens critics who argue that Thaksin, facing anti-government protests in cities like Bangkok and northern Chiang Mai, has simply “gone native” to shore up his support among rural voters who are his political base.

A weekly anti-Thaksin rally in Bangkok last weekend turned into a march on Government House, where protesters briefly entered the grounds. In Chiang Mai anti-free trade protesters this month pushed their grievances against Thaksin’s economic policies.

“The television show can’t help Thaksin to get away from his problems of corruption and also the failure of solving the problems in the southern provinces” of Thailand, said Chaiyan Chaiyaporn, a political science professor at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok.

More than 1,000 people have died in two years of unrest in Thailand’s Muslim-majority south - crimes blamed on a complex mix of Islamic separatists, organised criminals and local corruption.

That violence, plus frequent allegations of government corruption, have caused Thaksin to lose much of the support he enjoyed at the February 2005 elections when he commanded a 77 percent majority that gave him an unprecedented second term in office.

“We’re looking forward to seeing his tactics for next week,” Chaiyan said.

“It will not be a television show, it’ll be something new to distract people from the problems that are arising in Bangkok and in the major provinces.”

Not all are so skeptical of Thaksin’s motivations.

Sirirat Choonhakla, a political analyst at Mahidol University, said she regularly watched the show and believed it could be of help to local officials.

“In Thailand, we have quite a problem of administration, we don’t cooperate very well with each other,” she told AFP confident that by visiting the provinces, Thaksin was trying to show how his chief executive-style of government could encourage his officials to do more good.

Report from The Nation dated Friday 27 January 2006 :-

CAPITAL INFLOW: Baht appreciates to a one-year high

The baht appreciated to Bt 38.80 to the US dollar yesterday in intra-day trading, a level not seen since January 14, 2005, with about US$3 billion (Bt116.8 billion) in capital having flowed into the stock market since the start of the year, according to the Bank of Thailand (BOT).

Yesterday’s currency surge was also due to importers purchasing dollars in preparation to buy oil, dealers said.

The baht opened at Bt 39.15-Bt 39.17 (offer and buy prices) and closed at Bt 38.87-Bt 38.89. Dealers said the baht could hover between Bt 38.50 and Bt 39 in the near future. They also said the Singapore dollar and the Korean won appreciated yesterday.

Of the $3 billion in capital inflows, more than $1 billion was used to buy Shin Corp shares in its buyout this week, said Mr Pridiyathorn Devakula, the BOT governor. He said the rest was due to foreign investors’ heightened interest in the economy.

The capital inflows for portfolio investment were $2 billion for all of 2005.

Speaking at the “ Economic Outlook and Strategies for Economic Management” seminar organised by the National Economic and Social Advisory Council, Pridiyathorn forecast that commercial banks’ lending this year would grow 10 per cent, the highest since the 1997 economic crisis, thanks to high industrial capacity utilisation.

Pridiyathorn said loans were likely to grow 10 per cent from 2005, compared to 8 per cent between 2004 and 2005. The double-digit growth is expected due to industrial expansion. Industry was running at an average 74 per cent of capacity in December.

In addition, listed companies, which reported an aggregate net profit of Bt279 billion for the first three quarters of 2005, will also be expanding this year, he said, adding that firms would plough their profits back into operations.

Credit expansion is expected to record double-digit growth for the first time since the 1997 financial crisis, when plenty of companies went bankrupt and the banking system’s non-performing loans skyrocketed.

Despite high capacity utilisation, investors during the last few years delayed their reinvestment plans because they lacked confidence in the economy and were concerned about political conditions, the violence in the deep South and increasing oil prices.

Pridiyathorn said the current-account deficit last year had grown to $3.7 billion. It could have been worse, save for the second half of the year, which saw a surplus of $2.2 billion, compared to a deficit of $5.9 billion in the first half.

He said the current-account deficit would be around $3 billion to $4 billion for some years to come because of high oil prices. But the deficit would not have much impact on the economy thanks to strong international reserves of $53 billion. In addition, capital inflows would help strengthen economic stability.

“The $3 billion-$4 billion deficit is acceptable even if there is no capital inflow at all. But, the deficit will not last for many years,” said the governor.

The governor said he would continue to gradually raise the 14-day repurchase rate, which is currently at 4.25 per cent, in a bid

to slow down inflation and encourage positive real deposit interest rates.

Hmm.. ok, will try and post the FR from our trip. Left KL with my friend on Driday evening... roads were very congested... reached changlun with only minuted to spare, managed to cross the border with about 5 minutes to spare. Called bros DK and TD, of course, in KC lorr... where else. Dropped off our bags and went to meet the bros at KC. THen we went to Kiss Lounge to check out the chicks... not much available, went to Piano Lounge, slim pickings... since it was already 2 am, decided to call it a night to make an all out assault on the farms the next day

Day 1, had breakfast at mamak near hotel and took tuk tuk to Channivat... nothing to our liking, so went to SKY, saw two gers from the same farm... me and my fren booked them.. pretty and friendly... had a drink and deep point, met up wif Thai75, TV , CupNoodle and another unnamed Samster. TCSS, TV gave some recommendation... thanks for the pointers, Thai75, TD and Boinker immediately went to Pizza to check out the available toppings hehehehe... me, my friend and DK went to Hadyai Cental for Massage... after that, went back to hotel for lunch and wait for the gers to arrive... in the mean time, we started to have a few drinks in the room. The gers then arrive, my ger thought DK was the customer and he made his usual GTM moves... hehehe... annoying but entertaining... strange feeling... heheheh, anyway, once that was sorted out, took my ger for lunch, she wanted noodles so take a tuk tuk, and rounded hadyai looking, but all the stalls were closed, so went back to the hotel... ate, bonked and the ger wanted to do her hair, so I gave her some money for tuk tuk and for salon and she went off... called DK and suggested a trip to Pink Lady... cheew kang lorr hehehe, we each chose one ger ... good bonk, rushed back to hotel cos suppose to meet the rest for dinner. My ger had returned also...

We then met up wif the rest and take tuk tuk for dinner. After that, sent her back to hotel at her request to hotel cos she was bored and didn't wanna go KC.... the one thing I luv about this girl is her ability to enjoy herself...

So we went to KC, drink.... 3 tequila shots and many beers later, we left KC... on the way out noticed my friends ger and waitress talking to a bro that was with TV and Cupnoodle earlier... anyway read the Hadyai Afterdark thread for more on this drama... left KC and reached Hotel... Zzzzzz no strength to bonk... for that night that is ... hehehe... end of day one...

Went to my latest Hadyai trip with bro KLKool, Dekuip, Boinker, KlangKia & KLKool's friend so our timing is similar (except for 1st day where KLKOOL and friend arrived just before 12am border gate close), just that the girls are different :D

Day 1 :- Our drive up to Changloon was pretty smooth and didn't notice any traffic. I was surprised to get a shaded car park at the Duty Free zone compared to the previous trip where we had to park outside. Wow... only a handful of cars so Hadyai must be pretty empty on the day we went. After parking the car we took a van for 700THB to Sakura GV which was our regular hotel. 850THB for the 1st 2 nights and 1450THB for the next two due to the festive season. On the way there I already got an sms from bro Karupa that he reached the day before and we made plans to have breakfast together. We wanted to go look for pork mee but the restaurant was closed so ended up having Tim Sum nearby See Kim Yong. After breakfast, it was hunting time! Dekuip's friend was kind enough to drive us to Channivite so off we went.

Channivite was so empty! No cheongsters to be found and all the farms were fullhouse.. so we took our time to check out the girls. After walking through most of the farms I noticed a few cute looking ones but my mind was set on one of my previous girls whom I called Alicia Keys coz she looked a bit like the famous singer. So I called her... to my dissapointment, she already booked a bus to visit her family during this festive season and only had 1 hour to see me.. so I quickly sped to my hotel room to greet her. It was really nice to see her again and we hugged and groped the moment she came into my room. She suggested since she won't be around she'd recommend one of her friends to me, supposedly pretty, tall and busty. Her friend just came from Bangkok a few days ago and asked for 2000THB so I reluctantly said ok since it was her friend. After some more groping she said since her friend was still not there yet maybe we could go for a quickie.. so of coz I said yes ;) Although there wasn't much time it was pretty furious sex since it was a long time since we met.

Not long after her friend arrived and I was pleasantly surprised that she looked ok... not really a bombshell but has a girl next door kinda look with quite amazing body.. almost 5ft 6, busty and nice long legs, similar to a Playboy bunny type. I said goodbye to Alicia Keys and was soon left with her friend. Since I just had a session earlier we spent most of the time just trying to communicate but she only spoke Thai.. alamak... so difficult to talk to her.. so basically it was mostly sign language. After caressing while lying on the bed I got into the mood again and I had sex with her. She was very inexperienced and didn't know how to put on a condom.. so I had to do it myself. Although quite tall and curvaceous, she was very tight, so that made up for her inexperience.

Bro Thai75 was the real GTM lah... first time i saw 3 gers fought for i guy!! kekeke... i need to learn everythoing from bro Thai75 food.

ur ke hei ! ur taichi damn good, i can't agree more with KL.... u the man.... ur good friend in KC complain to us... want u so many times... but u kept telling her wait.... she gave u a nick name... Mr WAit... hahaha.... how u resist her is beyond me la.... thanks for intro the dancer to me.... her name also funny peebo or wat... chat ok.. but when ask number.. she just hahaha... sigh.. need to learn from u la...

think the most stoopid thing we try to do (and also the most entertaining for the GTM) was arranging 2 gers in one day... backfire... u should watch the video... (our GTM was kind enuf to shoot the video, damn KNN... hehehe..) sigh, we also went to Kiss Lounge and me and and end up with short term... 1500 baht + room, 2 hours, TD's was 1800 baht... take them out to supper... they wanted to spend the night, but dun think our two mei mei's would appreciate it after all that happen earlier... hahahaha... I try and book N** after you left... when I called Pizza, already kena book, KNN, damn unlucky, try ur wild chick from Andrew also booked... Kurupa also tried her before and recommend her.. hehehe... anyway, hope to meet wif yoiu in SG soon

must see the video.... hear already also entertaining....
bros so lucky.... honestly i've yet to try kiss lounge... go there 3 times... still untouched... bring me there leh.... quality there so good....
u guys solid la... they still wanna spend the night with u... next time no need to kick ur farm gal out... u n i exchange room can already.... hahaha...
the pizza gal i called is M***, u called the wrong gal is it? the wild gal is N** ... think u mix up lor.... heehee.... thanks for the dinner bro.... waiting for u to drink with me in SG!!! btw went to GM the same day i came back... wow lau!! place renovated nice nice.... new batch of gals also kheng kheng!! ur dancer gal still there waiting for u man !!! guess when u come ... we will meet there ... hahaha...

only had 1 hour to see me.. so I quickly sped to my hotel room to greet her. It was really nice to see her again and we hugged and groped the moment she came into my room. After some more groping she said since her friend was still not there yet maybe we could go for a quickie.. so of coz I said yes Although there wasn't much time it was pretty furious sex since it was a long time since we met.

so tat's where u go..... i tot why so eager to see her goodbye... really GTM... no a single moment wasted.... :D

My 2nd Day Summary

I decided to continue the ger... out of necessity really hehehe... woke up horny from last night, with hangover.... auto roam the ger... of course.. puyings dun like to be woken in the morning... so she frown at me, quickly have to sweetalk her, so she went toilet to wash up and prepare for action...

Just as I started, Farm called for all gers to return cos they have not enuf... KNN, already half way, called about 5 times... I got fed-up and told the ger I continue booking... just to bonk in peace... KNN

So finished up, ger went back to farm to change and do her hair... I met up with the bros for Roti Canai (Damn nice curry!!!) and left for SKY... details are sketchy, but went for Massage at Oliver, then book a van and went to Danok... that's our next target for next visit, a lot of SYT's, last night had conversation and confirmed with bro Nightdevil....

My ger was obviously amused... but also bored... got sex show also, ger smoking cig with her pussy, then passed cigarette to one Ah Pek to smoke... hehehe... shooting darts... bugger can aim damn accurately one...moving target some more

Anyway, got hungry and left for HDY... must visit Danok... next time only batangs... had dinner at old Lee Garden... slurrp.. good food, then went to Kiss Channel, and retired for the night...

To be continued...

Yo.. Bro Taurus thank you for you time to TCSS with us. Over all really an eye opening trip for me. Even I will say I am the SLC in term of age but I am just a noobi in the land of LOS. Really got to see out GTM, CBM-with-IC and TaiSeeHeng all out over the top skills.

The main draw back is seeing all red all over the place. Will not go again during CNY-hope I dont eat my own word.

dun worry ..once u mix arnd with them more..u will gain yrself a title soon!
like yr cantonese idiom for Dekuip : "Lighting up in toilet bowl"

when i arrived at airport last night with SN, saw something quite interesting but annoying. as we approaching and queing up for the custom check(passport) , there was this lady custom officer who cannot stop asking all Uncles " wow..came back from Hatyai huh?" "how come only all men all this flight huh?" "how come got no ladies in this flight huh?" "how come...?"
surprising all these garang Uncles who an hour ago ,boasting abt their trip in hatyai and teasing the air stewardess on the flight..suddenly become timid and shy... speechless and helplessly standing and smiling as she clears them.

Bro TD it was great meeting you although did not really get to cheong till the last day of my trip!

If only the super CMI friend's had not been booked then i could have had a real tama (LT bonking two WL together). But if i had them (super CMI and her friend) then i would not have had the money to try the two gems at the MP.

Bro Taurus75,

After reading the threads for the past few months, I feel that your thread is becoming more like a chit chat thread without substantial useful information. Anyway, this is your thread and I am only sharing my observations and thoughts privately with you.

I leave it to you to decide what to do to make your thread useful, rather than just conversations with a few parties chating and mainly just 1 to 3 liners.

Regards.

well this is posted by one samster brudder thru my pm.
what he said was quite true. I am now considering and will decide whether to request Boss to close this thread. As i am only a threadstarter, i hope brudders in this thread can give me a few pointers on this..or simply setting up a poll to close or maintain this newbie thread for hatyai newbies. Or should i change this thread titled as another ?
Pls revert, any brudders?

Bro Taurus75,

I tend to agree with the pm that lately this thread have divert your initial motive in sharing Hatyai info to newbies.
When you started this thread in late Oct, there was much sharing of FR and places (both entertainment and cheong) which newbies can learn and also frequent traveller like me have learn from some of the info. which I do not know of... this we really appreciate your efforts and all bros who have contribute in one way or another :)
You may decide whether to cut down all those friendly chit-chat and focus on what your have started in the beginning. In that way, we as passive reader may learn more from you instead of browsing many pages but end up ...not much sharing. I think you must have many more good and valuable sharings on your trips for us to learn.... thank you
Just my 2cts view....

KLKOOL

I don't think that there is a need to close down the thread... we still post our experiences, what the going rates for the gers are (of course, there is always someone who books cheaper, and some more expensive...) where to stay, etc... It has definitely benefit guys from KL that this thread exists... which together with TV's thread, provide an in depth picture on where to cheong in HDY... Newbies, or even season vets can ask/post their questions, but the fault really lies in guys who do not share their experiences when they return from HDY... Some interesting lessons that I learned from my last trip

1. Tuk Tuks are smarter, even when u state somewhere else, if they know u r going to farms, they will stalk you
2. Never try to book 2 gers without first asking their permission, sure end up wasting money one
3.The year in Thailand is 2549... so feel like Buck Rogers hehehe
4. Going to HDY during festive period, rates for gers are sky high... SKY was from 2300 baht... Channivate... from 2000 baht onwards...
5. KissLounge Short Term Booking is between 1500 baht and 1800 baht... the 300 baht is diff between gers that BJ and dun BJ... Room included. But the rooms at MyGarden Home are too soft to properly screw on... oh BTW, its 2 hours for one shot...
6. Pink Lady does not discriminate between races, Love All Serve All... kinda like Hard Rock. Rate for Full Package is 1600 Baht
7. Always settle ur bills as the drinks arrive, Runnig Bills will lead to misunderstandings later... and the management always wins hehehe...
8. What the hell happened to all the SYT's at Piano Lounge ???? Only left Munsters...
9. Never travel with companions who like to take videos... otherwise everyone will know the drama in HDY...

Enuf infor ??? If not part 2 continued later... :D

As requested

Pink lady (PL) rates 1300 and 1600 baht (1 and a half hour)

1300 no body massage with air mattress 1600 with!
(or as one of the Papasan there said and i hear untill blur blur 1300 no rubber 1600 with rubber!Rubber meaning air mattress!CCB first time hear him say catch no ball!)

The break down eg 1300 is 400 for the WL,400 for the agent and 500 for Pink lady(the company).
If you guys fancy any of the WL there pls talk to them and neg. They would be happy to go out LT with you for around 3000 baht + or - 500 baht.Do not worry about their company finding out cus they will not be fined if they do not go to work. But once they start work and you want to take them out on the spot that you will have to neg wth the company and the WL.

Since on the subject of PL will intro one of them cus she will give good svs.Looks i find ok lah.her number is T18 name Nu.

Chao Phaya 4 (CP4) rates are 1200,1400,1600 and 1800 baht plus 100 baht if a tuk tuk brought you there. One and a half hour.
There is no air mattress svs there so the WL prices are base on their looks and age.
The price of the "sideline" sorry forgot but it is higher then 2200 baht.Pls note that i have seen the same "sideline" ladys there over the few past months that i was there so it seams that in Hatyai "sideline" just means that they are more pretty and dress better.

For Cintana the price is 500 and 600 baht plus 100 if a tuk tuk bring you there.
You are given one hour to do your "thing" but if you finish in 10-15 mins then they will be off!
That means they will not stay with you for the full hour unlike PL and CP4.
For that kind of price pls do not expect too much hor.The rooms are clean but run down. The bed is only queen sized. If you guys are use to places like up market MP then these rooms you wll not like!
The bath tub is like the normal one you find in your hotel and not like PL and CP4.

There are about 4 "cheaper MP" in the same area. The names are Cintana,Atami and two others that i cannot remember.Atami and the one next to it start around 6pm till 2am.Cintana and the one next to it start around 1pm till 2am.There is another MP that is opp Merlin hotel that starts at night too but i have not had the chance to "visit" the place.

Hope this information is help full to you guys!

Bro Taurus75,

I tend to agree with the pm that lately this thread have divert your initial motive in sharing Hatyai info to newbies.

..........

Just my 2cts view....

Hi bro osaka69,

Remember we (bro's TD and KLKOOL) wrote our hatyai stories about our november trip? I dunno what happend to bro's TD and KLKOOL but me kena zapped and also almost ended in big shit... if i said embassy my close bro's will know what i'm talking about.

Bro Stiffneck,

I wanna learn from u how to tarma.... thanks u 1st.

I will say again i am not TMK just a guy who likes to tarma lah.So pls don't call me TMK if you guys like then call me TMM (tarma man) kekekekeke!

To be a TMK one have to able to book two WL (LT hor and they must not know each other,in Hatyai only as in Bangkok it is not that uncommon) not from the same "house" then let them "svs" you at the same time. Then that person can be called TMK lah.As my tarma was at a MP (cheap one lah) and the ladys at MP are use to tarma so that cannot count.

The first three days nothing much happen. Now for my FR on the last day.

As it was my last day in hatyai (going back at 2150 that night) so decided to have a few bonks (only had one "come" in the three days and nights before that).

First went to look at the 300 baht ones at two places.
All CMI but we had fun laughing all the way as we (Taurus and TD) were thinking that if KLK came along we would be hearing Ti Na Ma all the way as all the WL were super CMI.
Even our Taurus said it would be better to PCC till his "head" came off then to engage the svs of the WL there!hahahahaha!!!!!(but i had seen one not too bad looking one before hor would had "on" if not that time no enough)

Then we went to Chao Phaya 4 (CP4) as it was still early we had lunch at the lounge of the "sideline".
As we were eatting checked with taurus if he had tried Pink Lady (PL) air mattress body massage (AMBM) before,he said cannot remember. So decided to go PL as CP4 does not have AMBM.
As we were leaving checked out the massage ladys at CP4 saw a few good lookings one but alas Ah Aom was not working (38D real, not mod one hor,had tarma her with and another WL on another trip).

Reached PL not many WL as most of them were working. So ordered drinks, stout for me and beers for TD and Taurus.(Thanks TD for the drinks! That day forgot to say!)
Waited for about 15 mins then saw Ah Nu (T18 had her before not bad,but boobs mod and quite hard but who cares as long as the svs is good!)mah tu liao.
"On" her as we were going up the lift she remembed that i had booked her before.
In the room she said why i did not call her, told her i did but only on the last day (in the morning and her phone was off)cus it was CNY and she would make better money working at PL then doing LT with me!
She said i so understanding (so sweet).
She started to give me a massage first while waiting for the tub to fill up.
TCSS a bit then went the wash up.
In the tub she give me a good scrub down followed by a long .............body massage kekekeke you guys thought BBBJ right? wrong!
Dried up and started her cat bath not bad but still not up to our cat 150 in sillapore.Did a CBJ for about 8 mins.(ok lah)
She went on top for about 10-15 mins then changed to me on top.(she was not as tight as i remembed maybe i was her 2 or 3 customer?)Ate a bit of her boobs.
Changed to "doggie" and ended it there cus it was my first cum in two days!(cannot last long sorry)
Washed up and she give me a good massage till time's up.Meet up with Taurus,TD and off we went to Cintana.

At Cintana we had milo and checked out the WL.Number 41 was fair and ok looking.
Me,TD and Taurus all agreed that that would be our first choice (they also agreed that it shoud be KLK choice too kekekeke)
It seams that we all agreed on the way we "grade" the WL.Number "41" being first choice, "white" one being choice number 2(sorry but forgot her number maybe TD can help me on this!) number "5" being choice number 3.
Me being a greedy man asked the mamasan (or should call papasan cus she looked like a "guy") who is ok with who for tarma?
She said that "white" are good friends will "black" (forgot her number too sorry bro TD pls help lah).
As she was saying that saw number "30" come in big boobs gal (super slup!!!!! ok lah me super dirty old man i know know!)
Saw the looks in TD eyes and saw the CCB coming out kekekekeke!
I asked the mamasan if the "white","black" and number "30" can do foursome or not she said it should not be a problem!
Mind going over drive now!!! Never had a foursome before!
Asked TD to loan me 500 baht first, he swee swee loan to me!(returned back to him later, read on to find out why)
But the kind hearted Taurus saw the disappointing look on TD face.(sorry TD my little head got over my big head!)
So Taurus told the mamasan that TD will take number "30".There goes my foursome, sad and happy at the same time.
Sad because no foursome but happy that TD will be bonking a 600 baht for the first time!
Well "on" the "black and white".Went to the room with "black", thought that "white" will come along but she seems to be waiting for someone or something?
In the room asked "black" where her "friend" was and she thought i was asking where TD was so she shouted to check where number "30" was.Kekekekekekke!!!!!
Asked her were her "white" friend was.She give a funny look and said she was waiting for her "customer". Hahahahaha "white" thought that taurus was her customer!(she does not have that kind of luck kekekekeke)
Told her that i was having two "ladys" and that her customer was here waiting for her!
Saw the look on her face and could not stop laughing for two mins after that!

As i was still very "clean" from PL so did not shower but "black" did wash my didi. The bath tub was normal and not big (unlike the up market MPs).Saw the bed was only queen size (heng ah did not have foursome if not one of the ladys will surely fall off during bonking!)
Off with their dresses.
"Black" was slim, dark, ,nip like eraser, boobs around 32B.
When "white" took off her bra,out came two 32C+ boobs and nip was small (oh my "beep" the type i like, big at the right places and small where it should be!super super SLUPSSSSSS)
Did not know that "white" was a boobs gal SUPER BIG GRIN ON MY FACE!!!(why was "beep" so kind to me on that day!!!!)
Lay on the bed like the fat pig i was!(this was my going to be my second "come" within one hour and hell are these WL going to suffer!!!)

"Black" started with a catbaht while "white" gave a BJ.Having two ladys svs one man is really out of this world!French with "black" for a while and tasted her boobs, did that for about 5 mins.
Think about time for a change of "taste".Asked "black" to BJ and "white" to take over where "black" had left off."White" catbath me and me french her too.
Of couse ate "white" boobs!(told her that it was Aroi mak mak kekekekek!!!!"White" said boobs where got taste one and both of them laughed out together, well i told them that to me it tasted GOOD and they laughed louder!)I must say both these ladys know how to suck!
Time for me to bonk them!Started with "black" below then changed to doggie.("black" was tight!)
"White" was at a lost at what to do while i was bonking "black" kekekekeke!(seem like that they have not had too many tarma together!)Well not to let "white" be too "free" told "black" that i will now bonk "white".
Did the same with "white" (missionary followed by doggie) and you know what? "White" was even tighter then "black".(i have a smallish didi so that should say a lot about the "tighness" of their "mei mei" or maybe they know how to control???)
As i am a fat,old and not fit any more can only bonk them for about 10 mins each.
As i lay down for a rest i heard the magic word "we" BJ for you!(not HJ but BJ hor,I like mak mak mak!!!!
So "white" BJ me for 6-7 mins then "black" take over and would do like wise.
Of couse the "free" one did not rest she would be frenching or licking my nip!(sorry lah me old man second time take super long time:D but enjoying ever min of it!)
Guess that i had about 5 mins left ask both of them to lick my nip while both of my hands playing with boobs.Changing every few sec between boobs of couse!
Soong big time, they took turns to HJ me.
Not much time left so had to HJ myself to "come".Washed up paid them tip 100 baht each(they seam happy about it being only 100 baht!)Was thinking of asking them for their HP numbers but me not knowing when i will be going Hatayi so did not bother lol!(year end hui ang all gone now!)One more thing while dressing up they did ask me if i had drank a lot of beer?(long time to "come") i told them that before i "had them" i had already come less then 1and a half hour ago at PL!

All i can say is that was the best value bonk i ever had!!!(600 x 2 + 200 tips =1400 baht!)Pls note that at these type of place they do note stay with you for the full one hour and once you "come" their "job" is done. But at no time was i "rushed".Remember that OMMIAMP.

Hope you guy do not my FR too long winded!Take care and happy bonking to one and all!!

Bro KTL69,

You post so frequently, even doing research on Rose Chan and Anabel Chong, ask about food in Hatyai; yet no time to post your "fight of the Century" and need two more weeks. I think many bros will become very disappointed.

Bro TV mentioned that you lost one tooth from the battle, now we realise from your post that more teeth are now at serious threat of being lost. If no details are given, at least can give us a brief description of your century fight such as : Did you CIM flooding her throat such that she almost choke, CIF such that felt a sensation that was never felt before, superb length of flying time with the tigress, exhausting all of Karma Sutra's known positions, extraordinary number of quality shots you did, super loud geniune stereo sound from tigress because you made her squirt eg. 3 times, causing the mattress to become drenched and how this cause your sacrifice in terms of number of teeth, sperm and baht lost.

So far, no bro has ever claimed to have the fight of the century. We are very curious about your claims of setting not only high standards or I should say New Standards for bros to dream of and for perharps some courageous bros to emulate.

I think bros will appreciate your possibly Jet Li style of fearless FR soonest. We are all hoping to read your fight of the Century. Jet Li's Huo Yuan Jia fight for China against foreign champions is last century, I look forward to your better FR as it is action in this century.:D

For Jet Li's fearless, some bros may not agree that it can qualify as the fight of the last century.

Bro Taurus,
What is the name & location of the place where you can get a 6 course meal for 300 bahts :p ? Is is per head for 300 bahts ? Please share your info with us.

One more thing since you like places like S.C. then maybe you can check out a new place at Hatyai Asia hotel (seven floor is my memory is correct?Brudder Taurus can "help" me to remember?) they work like S.C. but the quality i saw there is not up to par.Did not ask the price but they should be around the same as S.C. or slighly cheaper.(only saw two WL when i went to view)

Hope this infomation is useful!
Thanks, bro....
Been to Asia Hotel b4...not sure if U R referring to KTV joint on 2nd floor, quality is poor. If U R not referring to KTV joint, I will have to check it out one of these days, hehe:D
