The standard of living in BKK has risen so much; SGD$1000 (~24K baht) can hardly last 2 weeks just doing casual shopping, eating at restaurants & cheap outlets, leisure activities (e.g. pubs, movies) AND excluding lodging.

Surprisingly, unlike in Sg where one can do with a bowl of noodles & drinks at $5 and calling it a "meal", having the same over in the BKK city doesn't seems "normal" to them. Anyway it'll cost 40-50 baht (kway teow noodle) + 20baht (coke) = 70 baht or S$3 which I thought was "cheaper" than Sg. However...

During those "vacation" with my tirak there, each meal usually is a feast of several dishes which cost easily 500-800 baht ($20 - $30) for a couple in those "Thai food road side restaurants" and around 1500+ baht (~$70) just having a more special meal in those average Jap restaurant like FUJI.

$1000 can give you 20 cat50 fucks in GL. So make sure you fuck her 20 times during the 2 weeks to break even
