Its a very good idea, but the OKTs probably won't want to bring them in.

GL is price controlled (i.e. $150) and you can't charge a premium for any nationality. There are no new Malaysians because they get every other month off and the OKT prefer China girls that don't get holidays.

This is China standard so no-one complains. If you do this to an Euro, you'll have Amnesty International calling the PM! Apparently he's happy to take calls from foreigners (see Elon Musk).

well, the control on the price can always be changed if authorities agree to it. for euros, if its west euro i agree with u there might not be able to take it n complain as their standard of living is still quite high, many countries there r welfare states esp scandinavia n Great Britain, but for east euros, its most likely same or worse as China standard , they will not complain and might demand even lesser than China, China is much stronger n richer then these countries anyway. amnesty international wont call the pm over these matters as the labour laws in legal geylang r quite reasonable already.

I don't know firsthand if its true, but a Samster wrote before that the $150 is specified in the schedule of some act and it would take parliament to change it. Maybe some bro could verify this?

If that's the case, its sad for our GL. I can't imagine may MPs lining up to champion changes and China KTV girls already get 2K overnight (S$400).

guess prospective okts will have to clarify with authorities, or if any bro who knows the relevant statutes n regualtions well can also share with us, if garmen understands this need and issue , hope they will make the necessary relevant changes in regulations and policies for this positive change to occur even it takes some effort from okts , mps n various authorities, most importantly ideas n suggestions must be well communicated and negotiated with garmen. guess they also know whats going on n the going rates in illegal underground sex trade (ktv, pub etc...) n also the dangers behind it.
