i was once told by my maid that if the AV raid, they just need to check if both you and the maid is legally reside in Singapore. If the maid can produce her ID permit then she is safe. They just want to catch those illegal prostitute holding visitor pass but doing something fishy to earn money...am i right to say?

Base on my humble experience, there are different type of hole. Big and small, not so big, not so small. Some are tight and some are loose.
