White stringy particles floating in urine

Hi folks..juz wana find out if any bros experienced this...

So on Tues i went to do a pre-employment medical examination, which involves urine test. As per usual, took the bottle, went to toilet and start peeing into e bottle.

After washing hands i picked up e bottle and i noticed that my pee was crystal clear but had some bits of stuff floating around...so i opened up e bottle cap to take a closer look..n i noticed some tiny stringy particles that were opaque/whitish...not alot though.

I also spotted 1 transparent, jagged, worm-like shaped thingy floating at the top..i tried to push it up wif my fingernail and it felt hard..i even heard a 'tiak' sound...

I've had treatment for chlamydia last year which was confirmed cleared up by doctor during follow-up apt... and chionging after that is ALWAYS wif protection.. i din experience any burning or discomfort either during peeing...so what could be it?

Anybodi had same exp? Doctors care to comment? Thanks!

Retrograde ejaculation, parasitic infections, UTI, kidney problems and STI are just some of the reasons that could cause you to have white particles in your urine..

Go check yourself check..

Just see a doc and do a cheap urine test first.

It's hard to make a diagnosis without any tests.

Those are called mucus threads.

They are produced by your body as part of inflammation in response to something irritating the bladder or urine tract.

It could be infections but more likely just a passed stone. Even chemical urethritis (eg soap getting into your urethra) can cause something like that

Thanks for e reply Doc... my urine test is arranged for tmr and hopefully those things are caused by what you had just described.
